一到春天就變得懶洋洋?必定是「春困」惹的禍!此話只說對了一半,春困的濕氣的確令人感到疲憊,但如果你「春困」的情況很嚴重,這表示你身體虛弱需要調理,假如本身陽氣不足,更容易受春困影響,如何知道自己陽氣不足?來看看你有沒有以下症狀:
陽氣不足的表現:
☐四肢及身體冰冷
☐嚴重怕冷
☐口淡,不欲喝水
☐嗜睡,懶惰不願動
☐凌晨時分容易腹瀉
☐面色偏白
☐小便量多時間長

春天是自然界陽氣生發的季節,養生之道就是順應四時變化,調養體內的陰陽平衡,故春天宜保全及固護陽氣,使陽氣不斷健旺起來,到春來時在生活上作出以下調整,有助生發陽氣,減緩春困對身體的影響。
.春捂
傳統有「春捂」的說法,氣溫剛回暖但也不要過早轉季,避免因溫差變化而著涼生病。
.晚睡早起
晚上11時至1時之間上床睡覺,日出時起床。
.早起梳頭
頭為諸陽之尊,梳頭有助升發陽氣。
.多戶外活動
呼吸清新空氣,舒展筋骨。
.適量曬太陽
選擇朝早或傍晚而非烈日當空之時,最好多曬背,因為「背為陽,腹為陰」。
.提防冷氣
避免被冷氣直吹,在辦公室準備圍巾保暖。
.按壓百會穴
位於頭頂正中線前髮際後5寸處,約兩耳尖直上頭頂中央,用手指揉按有助補陽氣、醒腦開竅。

Improve the yang energy to get rid of Spring fatigue
People will inevitably get tired easily and feel lazy during spring. It might be spring fatigue! What you said is partially correct, as the dampness in spring can indeed cause us to feel tired. A severe case of spring fatigue might be a sign that your body is weak, and you should undergo the necessary treatment. If an individual lacks yang qi, then he or she might be prone to suffer from spring fatigue. How do we know if our body lacks yang qi? Let’s take a look at the symptoms below:
☐cold limbs and body
☐aversion to cold
☐tastelessness, do not want to drink water
☐excessive sleepiness and laziness
☐prone to diarrhea at early hours
☐pale complexion
☐high volume of urine
☐loose stool or stool with undigested food
☐bloatedness
If your body exhibits at least three of the following symptoms, then your body belongs to the yang-deficient condition.
During spring, our yang qi emerges in the natural world. The way to care for our health should be adjusted according to changes of the four seasons, so we could maintain the yin-yang balance. Hence, it is beneficial to strengthen yang energy during spring. Adjust our lifestyle habits during spring so we can strengthen yang qi and reduce the effect of spring fatigue on our body.
.“Spring cover”
There is a tradition called the “spring cover”, or known as ‘Chun Wu’ in Mandarin, which means individuals should not remove clothes too early when the temperature rises. This can help us avoid falling sick due to the seasonal change.
.Sleep late and wake up early
Go to bed between 11pm and 1am, and wake up around sunrise.
.Comb hair in the morning
The head is the center of the yang energy, hence combing hair can help strengthen yang qi.
.Spend more time outdoor
Breathe fresh air in an open space, and do some stretching exercises.
.Be exposed to an appropriate amount of sun
Bask in the warmth of the sun in the morning and evening but not during noon. Make sure the sun warms the back, because the back represents the yang, and the abdomen represents the yin.
.Beware of cold air
Avoid being blown directly by the air-conditioner. Prepare a scarf in the office to keep you warm.
.Massage the ‘Bai Hui’ acupoint
The ‘Bai Hui’ acupoint is located 5 inches from the forelock in the middle of the head, and the center point in which the tips of both ears meet. Massage the acupoint with your fingers to help replenish the yang qi and activate the brain.

春雨綿綿,令人分外懶散,做事提不起勁,更何況現在每天都待在家不能到外伸展,倍感困攰!這就是「春困」的表現,春困不是病,而是人受春季天氣影響下的狀態,因為春天天氣潮濕,濕邪入侵人體使氣機不暢順,體內水液運化失常,水濕停留體內,造成肢體困倦、食慾不振、大便不爽、浮腫等症狀,人就好像被又濕又重的大毛巾裹著一樣,又怎麼動得了呢?
有人誤以為大開冷氣就可以免除春困的困擾,然而從中醫角度來看冷氣屬風寒之邪,被冷氣吹著會導致皮膚毛孔開閉功能失常,影響排汗功能,加劇濕邪積於體內,而且過於低溫會損傷陽氣,寒邪入侵形成寒濕。
想為環境抽濕宜用抽濕機,相對濕度控制於50-60%會讓人感到最舒適。而想為身體祛濕,建議每日飲用由紅米、白米及薏米煮成的米水,有健脾祛濕的作用。另外可多吃茯苓、淮山、白扁豆等有健脾祛濕功效的食材。少吃生冷、寒涼食物及甜食,以免身體聚濕。跟著日照時間作息,早起多曬太陽有助排走濕氣。進行適量運動,達致輕微出汗的效果,都能減少身體聚濕,減低春困對身體的影響。

You cannot seem to find your energy when it is raining outside. You may feel more fatigued when you stay at home everyday. This “spring fatigue” is not an illness but a body state due to changes in weather. Humid spring can lead dampness stagnation and cause poor qi circulation. The body cannot transport fluid in the body properly making it hard to dispel excess fluids in the body. This causes symptoms such as limbs fatigue, poor appetite, difficulty passing stool, edema. The body feels fatigued as if it is wrapped by a wet and heavy towel, how can you move when that happens?
Some people mistakenly believe that turning up the air conditioning can relieve spring fatigue. However, from Chinese medicine perspective, it becomes a wind pathogen. Being blown by air conditioning will cause the skin pores to function abnormally, affecting the body's ability to perspire, and increase the accumulation of damp pathogens in the body. The lowered temperature can damage yang qi, and the cold pathogen can attack which leads to cold and dampness body state.
If you want to reduce humidity, you should use a dehumidifier. The relative humidity of 50-60% is most comfortable. If you want to dispel dampness in the body, it is recommended to drink the rice water made with red rice, white rice and coix seeds daily to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness. You can also consume ingredients such as poria, Chinese yam, hyacinth bean. Eat less cold/raw, cool and cold natured ingredients and sweet foods to prevent phlegm. Follow daylight availability by getting up earlier and sunbathe to help dispel dampness. Properly exercise and sweat appropriately to reduce body dampness accumulation and reduce the impact of spring fatigue on the body.

穀雨是春季最後一個節氣,穀雨前後,雨水日漸頻密,充沛的雨水滋潤大地,正是莊稼生長的最佳時節。這個時候氣溫開始回升,日夜溫差大,空氣中的濕度亦逐漸加大,令人特別容易疲倦,即所謂的春睏。多吃粗糧、少飲食生冷有助強化脾胃,濕氣自然不滯留體內,也是對抗春睏的最有效方法。穀雨的飲食原則應以健脾胃、祛濕為主,可多吃薏米、扁豆、赤小豆等食物以健脾理氣化濕,並要注意減少飲食寒涼生冷或肥膩等會加重脾胃的負擔的事務,減底外濕加上內濕對身體的影響。
溫馨提示:
1. 小米粥具輕微的清熱功效,適合脾胃虛弱又想清熱的你!
2. 如不想衣服有噏味,就要抓緊太陽出沒的時候,或開抽濕機晾乾衣服!
3. 睡醒時如感覺像沒有睡過般,是時候袪濕了。
4. 作適量運動,微微汗出,並保持心情舒暢。
5. 腹瀉未必是感冒,可能是濕重的表現。

3. If you feel tired after a night of sleep, it is time to dispel dampness.
4. Exercise appropriately and sweat a bit, keep a happy mood.
5. Diarrhea may not be sign of stomach flu, it could mean you have dampness in your body.
