Two years ago, I would never have imagined myself being so much into fitness. Being in this industry is eye opening and life changing. Because I’ve started being more conscious about how I look and how well I’m able to perform, I’ve given up on many sweet stuff I used to not be able to resist (my KOI milk tea intake was CRAZY.) But ever since, my body started becoming less reliant on sugar, I don’t crave sweet treats to function and I’m liking this healthy change!

Of course, I don’t, and won’t, cut off all unhealthy food in my life (I’m munching on deep fried pork belly as I’m typing this) coz I enjoy them way too much. Who can live on avocado and eggs all day?! 😅 But I try to compensate for this by moving more to let those extra calories out. Work hard to eat hard, so they say. But for me it’s always been the other way around. Eat what I like, then make my workout worth the while.

Perhaps some may say, “aite bytch whatchu wanna be so skinny for” but if the camera magnifies your face 100x, what would you have done in my shoes? 🤪

In all honesty, I think I have a long way to go before I even belong to the “look good on screen” category 😂 But that’s ok, as long as I’m healthier today than I was yesterday! And so, to you who are reading this, don’t give up! Walk when you can, take the stairs, whatever! Every little thing counts! Keep going! 💪🏼
