好风光，似幻似虚…… 2003年4月1日，影迷和歌迷在得悉恶耗之后，都希望那只是愚人节的恶劣玩笑。17年了，我们曾在2018年以四部影片追忆他。他通过光影、歌声带给我们的好风光，长存于世。

The Legend is gone, but memories of him linger...On April Fool's Day 2003, Leslie Cheung took his own life, leaving his fans in shock and disbelief. It has been 17 years since, but when we think about scenes we love from Hong Kong cinema, it's amazing how many of those scenes centre on him. CHIẾN THẮNG LỊCH SỬ CỦA BONG JOON HO
Mình mê Bong Joon Ho từ lần đầu tiên xem bộ phim Memories of Murder hồi 2003. Đó là thời điện ảnh Hàn Quốc đang ở đỉnh cao, và mình cũng ở giai đoạn sung sức nhất của nghiệp viết báo điện ảnh.
Cũng nhờ mê MoM, mình chơi thân với một bạn học tiếng Anh người Hàn Quốc khi sang Mỹ, và cuộc đời đôi lúc lạ lùng, cậu bạn ấy, vốn cũng học kiến trúc như mình, sau đó cũng thi vào trường điện ảnh ở USC sau mình một năm. Cũng nhờ người bạn ấy giải thích, mình còn hiểu hơn MoM ở một tầng lớp ý nghĩa khác mà có lẽ chỉ có người Hàn, hoặc am hiểu lịch sử chính trị hiện đại của Hàn, mới có thể hiểu rõ tầng lớp ý nghĩa đó.
Mà cũng chính nhờ đó, mình mới nhận ra các phim của BJH, bao bọc bên ngoài là những câu chuyện hấp dẫn, ly kỳ, như chuyện điều tra vụ án, hay chuyện truy sát quái vật, thì ẩn chứa bên trong luôn là cái nhìn về chính trị và xã hội Hàn Quốc.
Chiến thắng của Bong Joon Ho tại Oscar tạo nên một kỳ tích lịch sử: lần đầu tiên một phim nói tiếng nước ngoài đạt giải Phim nước ngoài xuất sắc lẫn phim xuất sắc nhất, cộng thêm giải về kịch bản và đạo diễn.
Nhưng với Bong Joon Ho, chiến thắng ấy có thể đó chỉ là cớ để nhậu suốt đêm nay. Không chỉ cho ông, mà cho cả nước Hàn Quốc. Nhậu banh xác luôn nhé!

PLG is a consistent powerhouse skateboarder who pulls off spins and complicated tricks one after another while high above the coping.
