Did you know the Bornean Keeled Pit Viper has heat-sensing pits on the side of its head? The pits enabling it to detect body heat and attack with high precision even in total darkness.

A Bornean Keeled Pit Viper, posing perfectly and waiting patiently for something to scurry up the adjacent tree.

These snakes are ambush predators and are known to stay in the same position for days, or even weeks, on end while waiting for their next meal to come within striking distance.

I don’t think I could ever get tired of seeing pit vipers. They’re just awesome.

This year marks my sixth year in Jom Kurus Malaysia and my eleventh season as one of the Team Leaders of Jom Kurus Malaysia Borneo representing Likas zone. Also my fourth season as the Head Team Leader of Sabah/Sarawak. My huge appreciation to its founder Kevin Zahri for this awesome opportunity 🤩.

This season of Jom Kurus 14 is the busiest and the biggest ever in terms of the recently concluded Borneo Fitness/Wellness Fiesta which was held back-to-back for two days in Likas Complex which saw some strong 400 people attending the fiesta and contending in the Functional Fitness Throwdown 2020. An experience which I will treasure so much in terms of event organising. Kudos to everyone who were involved, you know who you are! #tiringbutworthit 🔥💪 #awesomeTeam

As for my Team Likas, the highest weight loss achieved is almost 9kg won by Dayang Farah, while the rest lost an average of 5kg within this six weeks weight loss program. Congratulations to all beautiful, strong participants of mine. You guys rock it till the end! 💖

We bid farewell to the fourteenth season of Jom Kurus with a lovely setting of the gorgeous sunset of Kota Kinabalu. Reminding us that tomorrow will bring another wonderful promise of a new day.

To sharing our stories from Borneo (Sarawak, Malaysia) and to experiencing all that you have 💖

On the 23rd of November, we headed down to a little village in the rural areas of Miri (Sarawak) called Long Lamam (The Penan tribe). The goal of the project is to design and build a new kindergarten for the community. I managed to film the entire experience and will be sharing with you parts of it on the channel and also Facebook over the next two weeks. This is Episode three.
