I'm actually not the biggest fan of #Cardio. Treadmills get boring & running outside can be a little dangerous especially if you're a girl running alone.
Also, I have no stamina to run long distances... So, in the 20mins that I allocate for my run, I try to make it as interesting as possible.
Running at a constant speed & gradient gets your body used to the pace. You're not working as hard.
But, if you run at different speeds, with a variation of inclines you're working harder. Which in turn, increases your heart & metabolic rate - meaning you burn more calories. Not just when you're working out but also during recovery.
