• 舉一例:What’s an example of conflict at the company around strategy or direction? What led to the conflict? How was it resolved?
作者建議:盡量問follow-up的問題,讓面試官把例子具體化,盡量讓他脫離那個假面具秀出真正的自己。如果面試官覺得尷尬與逃避問題,那你應該知道意思了。
3. 評估:conduct your own assessment to see if your values match those of the organization
為這個公司對於價值的說明打分數。

在我們的文化當中,
心裡就覺得好像被面試的人是一個『被挑選的人』,
可能是因為我們普遍對自己不夠有自信,
也可能是因為我們很想要那個工作。
但是如果不是真正的瞭解,怎麼知道自己不夠符合資格?
但是如果不是真正的瞭解,怎麼知道自己是不是真的很想要呢?
所以『了解』才是最重要的工作,
面試的同時也是,
面試官在了解我們,
在此同時,我們也在了解面試官、了解這個公司,
曾經有幾次我只是因為很開心對方答應了我的薪資要求而忽略了『了解』這個重要環節,
往往都沒有什麼好下場…
最後不只讓浪費了生命,也破滅了幻想。
不如在一開始的時候先充分了解,
反而『自信與探究核心的根本』會讓面試官更印象深刻。

Interview係一門學問,唔係問完幾句感覺良好就可以嘅工作,我哋其實可以用更有系統、更有技巧嘅面試方法 — Competency-based Interviewing Skills。
Competency-based Interviewing Skills係一套面試機制,透過建立一套Competency Model去設計唔同職位嘅面試問題,更有系統去組織成個面試流程,設計客觀嘅評分機制,再加上提問技巧,幫助我地更精準去請人。
用Competency-based interview有幾個好處:
1.客觀嘅評分
由於有事先設定嘅目標、問題、評分機制,我哋可以避免主觀感覺影響Interviewer對求職者嘅評分。就算你主觀覺得佢樣衰衰,但佢答到問題,你都唔可以因為咁而唔畀分佢。
2.問問題更有目標
同傳統面試唔同,Competency-based interview通常會用behavioral questions(情境面試題)去了解求職者嘅技能。例如目標係需要leadership skills,喺一般面對面嘅面試好難睇到,所以我哋要透過預先設計嘅behavioral question去了解佢過去嘅行為,去判斷佢係咪適合。
3.節省成本
設立咗面試機制後,喺選擇CV、面試上我哋都有一套標準幫我哋去篩選。特別大部分HR人手都唔多,如果你更早、更容易知道candidate唔啱,你可以想像慳到幾多時間同成本去做其他嘢。
4.提升HR嘅價值
透過Competence-based interview請返嚟嘅同事證實更適合工作崗位,工作表現更好,turnover降低,其實變相HR係幫助緊公司提升競爭力。
