หลังจากที่ผ่านการอัปเดตและแก้ไขตัวเกมบนระบบ Nintendo Switch จนสามารถเล่นได้ตามปกติแล้ว คราวนี้ทางทีมพัฒนา Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night ก็เตรียมปล่อยส่วนเสริมแบบฟรีของเกมให้ทุกคนได้เล่นกันแล้ว ซึ่งก็คือเนื้อเรื่องของตัวละคร Zangetsu ที่หลายคนรอคอยกันอยู่นั่นเอง

โดยในหน้าข่าวสารอัปเดตของเกม Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night ใน Kickstarter คุณ Koji Igarashi ผู้กำกับของเกมได้ประกาศให้ทุกคนทราบว่า DLC ตัวละครเสริมอย่าง Zangetsu นั้นจะมาให้ทุกคนได้เล่นกันแล้ว โดยเงื่อนไขคือจบเกมในแบบ Good Ending และผู้เล่นจะสามารถเลือกเขามาใช้งานได้ในการเล่นรอบที่สอง ซึ่งท่วงท่าการโจมตีของเขาจะต่างจาก Miriam อยู่ไม่น้อย

นอกจากตัวละครใหม่แล้ว ทางทีมงานยังเพิ่มระบบ Randomizer ที่เอาไว้ปรับแต่งฉากหรือสุ่มลำดับการปรากฏตัวของศัตรู ไอเท็ม เควส และอีกมากมาย เพื่อไม่ให้ซ้ำกับที่เคยเล่นมาก่อน โดยโหมดนี้จะมาแทน Rougelike Mode ที่ถูกยกเลิกไปเพราะติดปัญหาในการพัฒนา ซึ่งก็น่าจะพอทดแทนสิ่งที่ขาดหายไปแก่ผู้เล่นได้บ้างไม่มากก็น้อย

การอัปเดตตัวละคร Zangetsu และโหมด Randomizer จะมาในวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคมนี้ บนระบบ PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch และ PC ใครที่กำลังรอกันอยู่ก็เตรียมตัวกันไว้ได้เลยครับ
