上海唯一一家米其林三星,世界前五十大的餐廳。
三年前來過吃UVA菜單,非常有驚喜,打破一般用餐體驗,念念不忘。 一直想再來試其他菜單但因套餐實在不便宜,也要最少提前三個月來訂,而且要湊夠10人包場絕不容易(可以不包場但有一班朋友一起吃的感覺差很多),所以遲遲沒有前來。 碰巧酒友半年前發起要訂位和安排包場,我立馬二話不說報名。
這次的UV8888菜單價錢人民幣8888,是綜合UVA, UVB和UVC的精華組成,配酒也應該是最好,讓人萬分期待。
吃完後的感想是菜單比UVA短,量比較少。雖然也有不錯的酒如Opus One, Ch. Margaux, Silex, Winston Churchill香檳,Grange Des Peres 等等,但用酒的品質比預期還是有一點距離。餐後Open Bar的保持水凖(可惜不能再在室內抽雪茄),喝了兩杯Glenfiddich21年才離開。
整體來說,整晚的用餐過程還是很精采很享受, 食物水平很高。這裡是每一個愛美食的饕客人生必須試一次的一家餐廳,但吃相對便宜一點的UVA,UVB或UVC就可以了。

I tried their UVA menu three years ago. With its out of the box dining experience with non stop surprises which is incomparable to another other star restaurants in the world, I liked it a lot and always miss going there again to try other menus. But given the fact that it’s really not cheap, requires at least 3 months in advance reservation and most importantly gather 10 friends to go and reserve the whole place is posts challenge (one can just reserve one or two seats and share the table with others for the evening but it’s a lot more fun taking the whole place with one booking), I still couldn’t find the right opportunity to revisit ever since. Just so happen my wine buddy had taken the initiatives to make reservation and gather 10 people 6 months ago, I signed up immediately without any second thought.
The menu selected is the ultimate UV8888 for CNY8888, combining the best of menu UVA, B & C. Wine pairing quality should also be the best amongst all menus.
Comments:
Menu UV8888 is shorter the UVA, quantity is less. Although wine used is not bad with Opus One, Ch. Margaux, Silex, Champagne Winston Churchill,Grange Des Peres etc, quality is still lower than I expected. Open bar after dinner still maintains good standard, I had two rounds of Glenfiddich 21 years before leaving at 12am. A bit unfortunate is that regulation changed and the bar doesn’t allow smoking cigar anymore.
Overall experience of the evening was still very enjoyable with high standard of food quality. This is definitely a place where any foodie in the world should visit at least once in their lifetime and will not be disappointed, though I suggest trying the relatively more price friendly UV A, B, or C menu is sufficient to enjoy the journey.

教你如何不用等上几个小时就可以吃到美食
【店名🍲RAAN JAYFAI】
这位带着护罩眼镜的阿嬷,年近70多岁,一个人掌厨,每一座的每道菜都亲自下手烹煮而且还是用炭火慢慢的烧!好厉害!但问题来了,如果想要吃这美食一定一定会等上3到4个小时!就算你第一个Walk In(不是Email预定)至少都会等上2个小时!但很幸运的我们却在一个小时吃完这餐,还要是第一位踏入店里的人!
食物方面有出名豪华版的Crabmeat Omelet 一份1000baht 😯但是整个蛋里包着满满的蟹肉,很新鲜!很有蛋香味!还有海鲜炒粿条和海鲜东炎功里头的海鲜好大只!用料十足!所以值不值的排队,自己喜欢!只要一天阿嬷还在煮我还是会有回头的一天🙂
在此分享一下小贴士💕
1)记得记得出发前用 Email 预定位子,时间一定要在2.30pm,因为开门时间是在2.30pm!当天2.00pm到达,然后通知她们你是用Email Booking,因为现场会有两个List,一个是 Email 预定的名单,另外一个是Walk In 的List但她会先叫Email 的人先入座
2)如果可以最好是做第一座或第二座的客人因为第三座还可能要等上一个小时半!我们身为第一座的客人,等上菜拍照吃完一个小时到离开,第二座的食物还没来完,第三座的还在等!所以于此类推,就算你预定的时间在晚上分分钟还要等上几个小时!时间很重要😅这里的人群不是开玩笑的!没有时间的千万别来!
我们三样菜共花了2300+泰币!
