- Tính cách [Personality] của cá nhân: ảnh hưởng tới cách người đó suy nghĩ, đánh giá về hiện tượng mà họ xem là mối đe dọa hay không. Cùng 1 vấn đề mà người này thấy là bình thường, người kia thấy là mối đe dọa;
- Kỹ năng ứng phó của cá nhân với stress;
3. Theo APA (Hiệp Hội Tâm Lý Hoa Kỳ), có tới 3 loại căng thẳng tiêu cực [Distress]:
- Căng thẳng đột ngột [acute] xuất phát từ những đòi hỏi và áp lực của hồi tưởng quá khứ và dự đoán tương lai;
- Căng thẳng thường xuyên [episodic] xuất phát từ sự tích luỹ của căng thẳng đột ngột, tình huống xung đột;
- Một dạng là căng thẳng tiêu cực, xảy ra nếu cơ thể và hệ thần kinh của chúng ta không thích ứng được với những yếu tố gây căng thẳng;
- Cảm xúc: lo lắng, tê dại, bức xúc, bồn chồn, khó chịu, tức giận, sợ hãi,...;
- Cơ thể: Căng cơ, mệt mỏi, đau nhức, tức ngực, giảm sức đề kháng,...;
- Suy nghĩ: Giảm chú tâm, giảm tự tin, giảm khả năng giải quyết vấn đề, giảm khả năng ra quyết định, suy nghĩ bi quan tiêu cực,...;
- Hành vi: Tranh cãi, thu mình, ăn quá nhiều hoặc quá ít, mất ngủ hay ngủ nhiều, nghiện ngập,...
7. Căng thẳng kéo dài gây ra tác hại nghiêm trọng lên cả thể chất vào tâm lý:
- Rối loạn thể chất: đau nhức mãn tính, nghẽn mạch máu, đau bao tử, viêm nhiễm, tiểu đường, huyết áp cao;
- Rối loạn tâm lý: Rối loạn Lo Âu, rối loạn Trầm Cảm, Rối loạn Nhân Cách.

Sarcopenia and Translational Aging Research in Taiwan (START) study
1⃣️Oxidative stress
2⃣️Inflammation
3⃣️Protein-bound uremic toxins
4⃣️Parathyroid hormone
5⃣️Glucocorticoid
6⃣️Angiotensin II
7⃣️Defective insulin signaling

It's Friyay! Let's cray cray a bit! Life is no fun when we are boring!
It has been raining. I really love this sweet dessert soup when the weather turn cool and wet.
Poh Poh used to cook this for us. It is every Chinese favourite Tong Shui aka Sweet Soup 糖水. So simple to prepare but so heart warming. It is my kind of comfort food.
Shall we start?
Ingredients:
. Sweet Potatoes, Best to get e orange or purple sweet potatoes, they are more buttery for soup
. Plenty of pounded Old ginger, Bentong Ginger is the best! Put more if u like spicy spicy like me
. Bee Rock Sugar or Slab sugar or Gula Melaka
. Pandan leaves
. water
. Glutinous Rice Balls (optional)
Note/Tips :
. Boil ginger and pandan leaves for at least half an hour before u put the potatoes
. You can always add some dried Longan and red dates
. Dont boil the potatoes for too long. 15 mins will be good enough
. if you are adding glutinous rice balls, please add them into the soup 5 mins before eating. They cook pretty fast.
I cook this soup very often. It helps to keep great skin and happy gut.
Sweet potatoes contain vitamin A and this vitamin makes you produce less oil, and so your skin will be non-greasy too. Ginger is loaded with antioxidants, compounds that prevent stress and damage to your body's DNA. They may help your body fight off chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, and diseases of the lungs, plus promote healthy aging. Yayy, Keep us YOUNG!
Hope you like this simple sexy anti-aging Tong Shui. My Kids love them very much.

Unending daily to-do lists. The frantic pace of modern living. The race to stay relevant in the face of disruption. The very real threat of superbugs and terror in our everyday lives...It’s not hard to see why so many people today are experiencing stress, worry, and anxiety attacks.

In Live the Let-Go Life, Joseph Prince shows you how to beat stress and anxieties that come with the everyday demands and pressures of modern living. Discover how you were not designed by God to live under stress, but called to live the life of rest. Obesity is in the rising trend in both developing and developed countries leading to several chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart attack, and stroke. In our eat-and-run, massive-portion-sized culture, maintaining a healthy weight can be tough—and losing weight, even tougher. If you’ve tried and failed to lose weight before, you may believe that diets don’t work for you. You’re probably right: traditional diets don’t work—at least not in the long term. However, there are plenty of small but powerful ways to avoid common dieting pitfalls, achieve lasting weight loss success, and develop a healthier relationship with food.
Our brain is structured to find happiness at every level. Happiness as the state of fulfillment, and everyone wants to be fulfilled. If you keep your eye on this, your most basic motivation, then the choices you make come down to a single question: “What am I hungry for?” Your true desire will lead you in the right direction. False desires lead in the wrong direction. You can take a simple test to prove this to yourself: The next time you go to the refrigerator for something to eat, stop for a second. What’s making you reach for food? There are only two answers:
You’re hungry and need to eat.
You’re trying to fill a hole, and food has become the quickest way to do that.
If you have a hole (unhappiness or dissatisfaction) in your mind (may be deep seated in your subconscious mind), you will subconsciously or consciously look for happiness. And, guess what will you be looking for? It’s food definitely.
