Everyone knows that taking up farming is a big job, but one Chiayi man managed to get his little operation up and running in just two years, thanks to a mentoring scheme. Wen Wei-i's bitter melon farm is one of the most successful in Taiwan, and attracts visitors from far and wide, who enjoy its artistic aesthetic and a leisurely taste of farming life. With Chiayi's annual Dongshih Summer Festival fast approaching, it's the perfect time to make a trip to the county.
嘉義縣有一位苦瓜農溫偉毅，他從農業素人一頭栽進種苦瓜的生活，利用2年的時間學習別人10年的經驗，結果他真的苦盡甘來，不但曾入選農委會百大青農，還將農業與觀光結合，在自己的農場打造了苦瓜網美牆，吸引遊客前來。
