After the New Year, it’s time for CNY shopping! And because we’re all hard pressed for time, sometimes lifesavers come in the form of premixed paste so that meals can be prepared fuss-free. Paste like Laksa, Rendang, Chicken Curry and Satay Beehoon from Golden Chef which are all made in Singapore - support local! -, free of artificial colours & halal-certified! They’re available at all Fairprice stores by the way.

And because it’s not really CNY if there aren’t any goodies to munch on, I’ve put a new spin on CNY goodies by using the paste to whip up Laksa cookies, Rendang bak kwa, Chicken Curry mini spring rolls and Yusheng with Satay Beehoon sauce! Say what??? Yep, and my kids loved every single one of them! 😄
