Director Loh Kok Man and actors worked together on their blockings, gestures and dispute between the rehearsal of Secret Love and Peach Blossom Land. English, Malay, Mandarin…this is a trilingual plot with much coherences and interjections, which requires a great of time to cooperate and practice repeatedly. This is also a test for the responsiveness and chemistry between actors.
Besides the Malaya elements added into Secret Love, there were some amendments made to Peach Blossom Land according to the script provided by Performance Workshop.
“We hope to explore creativity within, such as the humour, breakthough as well as create without affecting the original writing." says Loh Kok Man, director of The Tragicomedy of Errors.
