A Christmas Story
There is much good in the world. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
★★★★★★★★★★★★
About a week ago, I saw a family receiving help from a charity. The volunteer gave them secondhand clothes and a pair of shoes to a little girl. Her father thanked the volunteer while the little girl looked so happy and jumped around in her new shoes. It deeply touched me. How fortunate I am to live in the comfort of my home without needing to worry about food or clothes on these cold winter days. It also reminded me of my childhood.
★★★★★★★★★★★★
When I was younger, my family was also disadvantaged, and I relied on government aid just to be able to eat at times. I still remember wearing secondhand clothes that don't fit and gluing my shoes together because the sole would detach whenever I ran too fast. Now, I have my own educational platform, live a comfortable life, and have a tiny bit of influence. I can and must do much more to help.
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I began researching possible ways to contribute to needy children, who honestly do not need English learning more than they need food in their bellies and a coat on their shoulders.
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Taiwan has a comparatively low poverty rate, partly due to government efforts and its definition of poverty as being low-income. However, what of those not listed in the government tax records? What about those without a roof over their heads? Even when a family is making what is considered the poverty line—anywhere from 170 to 350 USD per month depending on the area—they still suffer from the lack of resources. Think of how much you are currently earning. Would a family of four or five be able to survive on that if they did not have housing?
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I came across a charity program and was inspired by the following (now defunct) charity fundraiser.
We are five international exchange students at NTU who feel welcomed to Taiwan with open arms. In the spirit of the generosity and warmth of the Taiwanese people, we would like to give back by partnering with Andrew Charity Association to provide children in the Taipei area with Christmas gifts in addition to their monthly food boxes delivered by Andrew Charity Association.
The food boxes from Andrew Food Bank are what these children look forward to the most every month. With the Christmas holidays coming up very soon, we hope to give them another reason to smile in addition to their boxes of food…something small but enough to surprise them and let them know that someone out there cares about them.
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I contacted Andrew Food Bank asked them the procedure for donation. I then researched the organization before thinking about what I could do to help.
★★★★★★★★★★★
Of course, I could start crowdfunding like the original fundraiser, but with Christmas so close, that would take far too long. I needed funding immediately, and then a Christmas miracle happened.
★★★★★★★★★★★
That night, out of nowhere, I saw a picture of a sponge scrubber exceeding my new book in sales, so I thought it would be humorous to post the picture with a link to the book. That very night, we sold about 600 books! Now I have the funding needed to purchase about 150 gifts! I only make a percentage of the total revenue, so I decided to donate double of all my proceeds from the sale to purchase gifts in addition to the food boxes for these disadvantaged children. It's my small way of saying Merry Christmas to you and giving a little warmth to the needy.
★★★★★★★★★★★
The most basic principle of education is caring for those around you and letting them know you care, whether they are your family, friends, or total strangers.
★★★★★★★★★★★
I am not asking you to donate. Instead, let us just remember this principle of caring. Bring a little warmth into other people's lives. There are many who need your help, and we're all capable of giving so much love and care.
There is much good in the world. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Nice to meet you all. 🌷
This is hayashi hayashi, who was selected as a representative of Miyagi Prefecture, ′′ 2020 Miss Japan ′′ this time.
I am from shinchi-Cho, Fukushima prefecture, and I moved to marumori-Cho, Miyagi Prefecture from October 1th last year, and I am active as a regional cooperation team.
Marumori town was severely damaged in typhoon no. 19 right after the assignment as a regional cooperation team. Marumori-Cho has been forced to choose that the road was cut off due to the flood and landslide of the river, and the house was collapsed, and the house was not able to live in the house that lived for a long time. There are currently a lot of people living in temporary housing and home refugees. We still need support in all areas of Miyagi Prefecture and Fukushima prefecture affected by Chiba Prefecture.
Right after the disaster, we listen to residents who are evacuated every day at the shelter of maru morimachi, and think of the necessary support, and the situation changes 1 days a day called shelter, and we are acting in the days. I'm here.
At that time, there was a refill of what I needed at that time, and the early action was sought, and there was still something I could do, so I was frustrated.
It is not only marumori town, but it is a situation where you do not know when you will be able to evacuate due to natural disasters such as earthquake and typhoon anywhere in Japan, and I want to be a person who can act at And you will be the one who can reach out to people who are sad and seeking help due to typhoon and disaster.
Also, I want to be able to make the importance of transmission, and the connection between people and regions, and the connection between society, and the unprecedented situation.
I think I didn't apply for miss Japan if I didn't have a typhoon this time.
I've been in the middle of a long time since I've been in the middle of a long time since I've been in the middle of a long time since I've been in the middle of a long time since I've been in the middle of a long time since I
I am models, auditions, etc.
It's all my first challenge.
I'm still immature, and I started at 1, but I'm going to work hard for the Japanese tournament, so I'm going to have a good time.
And then
I want to get along more with you all. Come visit us at maru morimachi too. We are waiting for you ♪

I want to share with you a disturbing statistic I came across the other day...
In my city, Vancouver, there are 70 neighborhoods. And out of those 70 neighbourhoods, do you know how many of them minimum-wage workers can afford to live in?
It’s a very easy number to remember…
ZERO.
And I’m not talking about buying a condo or a property…
I’m not talking about renting in the city centre or renting some 2 or 3 bedroom apartment somewhere...
I’m just talking about renting ONE single bedroom apartment.
According to The Star Vancouver - minimum wage workers can’t afford a one bedroom apartment ANYWHERE in Vancouver.
And minimum-wage workers would need up to DOUBLE what they currently make to afford a one bedroom rental in most parts of Vancouver.
And as housing keeps becoming more expensive, it’s going to get worse.
So how do they survive?
Well, they have to get creative.
Some live very far out of town (2 hours away by car) and they commute for hours every day.
Some team up and pool their resources together and get as many roommates as possible.
And others just work two full-time jobs…
Anything they can do to make it.
And...
Minimum Wage Isn’t Just A Problem In Vancouver
Toronto, the largest city in Canada, has the same problem.
And in the U.S., there’s NO single state where a minimum-wage 40-hour worker can afford any comfortable two-bedroom apartment...
It’s really bad.
If you’re going through this like I did.
Or if you know someone that is going through this, let me just tell you right now...
You have to do something about this FAST. Because it’s not going to get easier.
I remember when I was working a minimum wage job like yesterday.
People didn’t appreciate me. I was replaceable. And the longer I worked - the harder it became to break out.
The debt started to build up.
I had to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag while my mom slept on the bed.
And we were even afraid at times of getting kicked out of our apartment.
...with no idea where we would go.
And that was almost two decades ago! Back when rent was cheaper.
So I can’t imagine how people are still making it happen today.
This is serious... and it’s getting more difficult every. single. month.
Getting a 4-year education isn’t enough now. Getting two jobs only fixes this problem in the short term.
And if you already have a family or want to start one... pooling with other minimum wage workers won’t work either.
You need something else.
A competitive advantage.
Now it’s going to take you some work. And I don’t know if this is going to work for everyone…
But this complimentary training I’ve put together may just be what you need to start protecting yourself and your future...
Tens of thousands have taken this training and many more are going through it.
👉Type the codeword “training” to get started👈
Even if you don’t have to personally deal with minimum wage struggles at this point…
Housing is just getting more and more expensive. And inflation is growing faster than most incomes are...
So minimum-wage workers are not the only ones in trouble anymore either!
Teachers, nurses, and even firefighters are finding it harder and harder to live in the city...
If you’re not rapidly growing - you’re falling behind.
Now is the time to do something about it.
👉If you want me to send this training to you, put “training below”.👈
