2020年里着实充满挑战，无论是在国家层面还是对于个人，都因为新冠疫情受到冲击和影响。这段期间，很多人感到彷徨迷茫、无奈难过，但人生总有起落，最重要的是不让自己在困难面前唉声叹气、怨天尤人，同时学习就算被打倒也要咬牙吞血再站起来。（不容易，但并非做不到。）

《易经》曰：“天行健，君子以自强不息。”，大意是说君子处事应该像天一样，自我力求进步，刚毅坚卓，发愤图强，永不言败。在下以此与诸君共勉之，同时也祝愿大家在新的一年里阖家安康，诸事大吉，哪怕是戴着口罩，也不要忘了挂上笑容！😁

2020 has been a difficult year for many of us, but finally it has come to an end, and hopefully we will be able to say “bye” to COVID-19 soon too.

“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall.”, some may have succumbed to defeat and upset this year, but please do not give up and have faith that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.

I don’t usually post a photo of my mom, but when i do, it has to be special. I remember being in my early teens where my mom got a major heart attack where she literally stopped breathing, but with god’s will, she managed to pull through and now 15 years down the line, she’s now a grandmother to my little cutie pie. Honestly, between the 15 years after her heart attack, it was definitely the most memorable times i had with my mummy and im hoping for more to come in the future. Life is short but it’s always better to make the best out of the time that we have. I honestly would just like to share an appreciation post dedicated to her because if its not for her, i wouldnt have become the person i am today. She has taught me how to be independent, determined and of course to be ambitious in what life has to offer. My iban blood coming from her, i would have to say that we naturally have instincts of survival and adaptation is something that im proud to say im not afraid of. Because of her, i’ve travelled to tons of countries to explore different cultures around the world, which gives me a huge perspective of life across borders, and with that, i would have to say that instead of being afraid of the world, she has taught me to conquer the world instead, with humanity. Things like this you can never learn in school, but it always starts with an example that you see, especially from the person who raised you. So, thank you mummy for opening up my eyes with a bigger picture of how life is meant to be filled with happiness instead of sorrows. 新潟、念願の背脂ラーメンを味わう！新潟県燕市『杭州飯店』にお邪魔しました。新潟に伺った際に知った「新潟五大ラーメン」を制覇しようとこれまで新潟県内を回ってきました。 新潟あっさりラーメン「三吉屋」、長岡生姜醤油ラーメン「青島食堂」、新潟濃厚味噌ラーメン「こまどり」、そして三条カレーラーメン「大黒亭」など代表店を巡りそれぞれの味の違いや新潟のラーメン文化を感じてきました。今回伺ったのは玉ねぎと背脂が特徴の燕三条背脂ラーメン。「ますたに」など背脂チャッチャ系と呼ばれる京都ラーメンの原型とも言われるラーメン。その人気店に、何度目かのチャレンジで伺うことができました！早速お店の様子からご覧ください！

Niigata, taste the long-sought backfat ramen! We visited "Koshuhanten" in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture. We have traveled around Niigata prefecture to conquer the "Niigata Five Great Ramen" that We learned when We visited Niigata. Visit representative stores such as Niigata light ramen "Miyoshiya", Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen “Aoshima Shokudo", Niigata rich miso ramen "Commodore", and Sanjo curry ramen "Daikokutei" and feel the difference in taste and Niigata ramen culture I have come. This time We visited Tsubame Sanjo backfat ramen, which is characterized by onions and backfat. Ramen that is said to be the prototype of Kyoto ramen called "Masutani" and other backfat chatcha. I was able to visit the popular store with several challenges! Please have a look from the state of the shop immediately!
