so how many hearts are broken?

When the numbers ain’t high:
“I cannot breathe lah, kiasii mer? Nothing one lah!”
When the numbers are increasing:
“You’re killing us lah, lowsy gomen! Come on!”
When the sops ain’t tight enough:
“My boss still forces me to work, I’m so scared!”
When the sops are tightened:
“Walau, we noneed makan mer? Let us work lah!”
When the lockdown is finally granted:
“Queue only lah. We buy liao then go back niaomai.”
...
You can’t breathe in your mask; also
You can’t live without your BTS meals.
Yes rice, groceries, toilet rolls, daily necessities are important,
But you knew it you have online/mobile alternatives to restock;
Yes your better halves, family and friends are important, too,
But did your God/Lord not tell you that lives gone can’t restore?
I don’t get it, those logics. But I somehow come to a conclusion.
Why so? Why not kiasii? Why ignore and ignorant?
Perhaps those hearts aren’t yours to be broken, yet.
