Today, I experienced a few sports that I have never touched before. I just learn and need to show right now... And have to blindfold my eyes...🤯
視障是只是眾多身障之一,各種身體障礙在運動上都會面臨不同困難。
Visually impaired is just one of many physical disabilities, and various physical disabilities will face different difficulties in sports.
體驗身障的不便,但更體驗生命的活力並不該因為這些缺陷而有所圈限。推廣身障運動需要更多人的關注,每一個項目該如何引導學習需要經驗累積傳承。
更多學習與接觸管道,也會鼓勵身障朋友們願意踏出這道艱難的坎。💪
This time I experience the inconvenience of being disabled, also experience more about the vitality of life should not be limited because of these defects.
The promotion of disability sports requires more people's attention, and how to guide learning for each project requires accumulation and inheritance of experience.
More learning and contact channels will also encourage disabled friends to be willing to step through this difficult hurdle.

【本校防疫訊息~春節年假及開學前防疫注意事項】
NTU COVID-19 Prevention Message — Pandemic-Prevention Precautions during the Lunar New Year Holiday and Prior to Start of the Spring Semester

全校教職員工生大家好:

年假將近,年假結束後緊接著就是開學。依據教育部110年2月3日新聞稿發佈的指示,提醒各單位及教職員工生應配合下列防疫措施:
.
🧹請各單位與場館應於開學前完成校園公共區域、校內上課空間、以及自備交通車之清潔消毒,並於開學前備妥清潔消毒及防疫所需的各項物資。開學後,仍應依教育部109 年5月26日函頒之「教室及各學習場域環境通風及定期消毒注意事項」落實辦理。
.
😷請各單位與場館應持續落實進出館舍須自主刷卡(或實名制登記)、以及自主體溫量測。
.
👨👩👧👦全國高中以下學校延後開學期間(2月18日至2月21日),教職員工如家長其中一人需照顧12歲以下學童、或國中、高中等學校、五專一、二、三年級持有身心障礙證明子女之需求者,得申請「防疫照顧假」,請洽人事室詢問相關細節。

🏫寒假期間如需辦理集會與社團活動,請依中央流行疫情指揮中心發佈之「公眾集會因應指引」、以及本校發佈之「110年寒假臺灣大學集會與社團活動防疫規範」辦理。
.
再次提醒疫情期間請大家出門儘量配戴口罩、勤洗手、與他人保持社交距離,並自我注意是否出現發燒、 呼吸道症狀、腹瀉、嗅味覺異常等疑似症狀。如出現疑似症狀,應確實佩戴醫用口罩,儘速至附近社區採檢醫院就醫,且不得搭乘大眾交通運輸工具;就醫時,應主動告知接觸史、旅遊史、職業暴露及身邊是否出現其他人有類似症狀;返家後亦應佩戴醫用口罩,避免外出。

Dear NTU students and colleagues,

The Lunar New Year holiday is just around the corner and will soon be followed by the spring semester. In compliance with the instructions released by the Ministry of Education (MOE) on February 3, 2021, the University is asking all of you to abide by the following pandemic-prevention measures.
.
🧹All departments and administrative offices should complete thorough disinfection of the campus’s public areas, classrooms and learning spaces, as well as NTU shuttle buses. All the materials and equipment necessary for pandemic-related cleaning and disinfection should be made available prior to the start of the new semester. After the semester begins, the abovementioned matters should be carried out in accordance with the “Notices Regarding Ventilation and Periodic Disinfection of Classrooms and Learning Areas” issued by the MOE on May 26, 2020.

😷All departments and administrative offices should continue to implement swipe card entry (or real-name registration) and self-help body temperature measurement.
.
👨👩👧👦During the postponement of the start day of spring semester of senior high schools and under across the country (February 18-21), NTU faculty and staff may apply for “Pandemic-Prevention Childcare Leave” if they have to take care of their school-age children aged 12 and under, or children who are holders of a disability card and are attending junior high school, senior high school, or in the 1st through 3rd year of junior college. Please contact the Personnel Department for more information.

🏫If you need to organize gatherings or club activities during winter vacation, please do so in compliance with the Central Epidemic Command Center’s “Guidelines for Public Gathering” and the University’s “Pandemic-Prevention Regulations Governing Gatherings and Club Activities during Winter Vacation of 2021”
.
As the COVID-19 is still raging, please again be remined to always wear a mask when you go out, wash hands frequently, and keep appropriate social distancing. Be attentive and check if you have the following suspected symptoms: fever, respiratory complications, diarrhea, and abnormality of smell and taste. If you do, please wear a medical mask and immediately seek medical attention at a designated COVID-19 testing hospital near you. Please do not take any public transportation. When in the hospital for treatment, please tell your doctor about your contact history, travel history, potential exposure to the virus due to occupation, as well as people around you who may have similar symptoms. When you return home, you should also wear a medical mask and avoid going out if not necessary.

Hi darling,
How are you? It’s been awhile. I’m doing alright. This past week has been nothing short of eye opening for me, between the talk I was honoured to be a part of today discussing ‘Women In Shared Prosperity’ w/ @kakiseni @womengirls @institutmasa where it was a full learning experience for me to have been a part of such a diverse group of panels who were so generous in educating us about sexuality education in Malaysia, gender parity and also an in-depth look on what it’s like to be a Person With Disability in the workforce. We also spoke about how they too, go through sexual harassments but prove harder for them to report, especially in cases where the victims are blind, mute or deaf. My heart felt so heavy hearing this as these are things I have to say, neither one of us, I’m sure, would ever think about.
Sometimes I wonder how I, a mere songwriter, get to have the honour and be invited to share my thoughts on matters that are important. But I am honest about my knowledge and will not hesitate to admit should I have none in any subjects, but if I know, I will give you the world by speaking from my heart.
The best way to learn is to know that you know nothing and LISTEN. 🌺
Yesterday, I was invited by the young Malaysian members of Cambridge University (yes, *that* Cambridge) Malaysia Society @cumas94, where they asked some very well researched questions. I like effort. I often would have no problems sharing with people whom I know have put in the work to get to know me a little better as well. Also I let them know how proud we all are of them repping Malaysia and getting into @cambridgeuniversity! Big deal tau! ❤️
Anyways, darling. The weekend is approaching, numbers are rising again, so I do hope that we don’t go back to taking things lightly. I know that some of us have to go outside and work (me included) but we’ll push through!

Before learning how to kick up into handstand in the middle of the room… do remember, safety first!
So start by practising with a wall, knowing the feeling of being upside down and most importantly, being able to breathe when you’re inverted.
This tutorial will teach you how to warm up your wrists, shoulders and core for all the safety reasons, then learning how to do a supported handstand to build upper body strength.
