Workout for LONG TERM purpose of your body, NOT just to get abs.

Today I would like to encourage you to get into fitness for the long term. I want to state there's nothing wrong with wanting to have abs but the truth is it comes at a cost of discipline, commitment and patience. Are you willing for those three variables.

In our saturated social media world it seems its a necessity to always look pleasing to the eye. Can I also say not all things that look "perfect" on a picture means that they are healthy in the mind and the spirit. It's a chicken and egg situation too. When you are not well in the mind, I believe the intentions of health will not be as strong because the awareness to be healthy is just surface level.

When was the last time you asked how is my gut doing, how is my liver doing, is my brain functioning well, am I energized, how does food fuel me, what's the purpose for my cells, my heart, my lungs.... Each part of your body has a function. So consider how can you keep them well and functioning for the long haul.

Probably a bit heavy but i think it's necessary to sit back and think bout things like these. It may just give you a different perspective on how you want to take your health and fitness to the next level ❤️

A2 Sumo deadlift pull
A3 Rope
A4 Farmers Walk with Fat Grip & Sandbag & vest
A5 Screwdriver at Smith Machine
A6 Leg Press HEAVY

Work 1 minute Rest 1 minute 3 sets. I'm going to move away from this soon. Cause I've done this format the past 3 weeks. Change time 🤗

Day 2 of working out this week. here's the full body workout.
Work 1 min :Rest 1 Min :3 sets
A1 HexBar Deadlift
A2 Sled Push and Pull
A3 Assisted Chin Ups / Pull Ups
A4 Battle Rope
A5 Inchworm sliders (Hateeee these!!!! courtesy idea from @sassyshazlee)
For those who think I workout all the time. No! For the past few months I didnt - at most it was twice a week simply because I had other priorities. Well that wasn't an ideal move for me, I felt way more lethargic and demotivated. #TrueStory.
Nevermind physical changes but I truly didnt like not being active even if I was aiming for 10k steps a day. It's not the same at all 😔 I think for anyone who is an active junkie you would understand the feeling.

Anyway long rant over. If motivation is hard, find a friend who is willing to get active with you. Bare in mind while the gym buddy works, dont be dependent that you will only workout of you have a friend 🤗 But as a start it's a great way to get motivated. Thanks for agreeing to be my workout buddy today @shadesouza, you killed it today.
