They say people who are born in the year of the horse have personality traits of being warm-hearted, enthusiastic, and positive. They are lively and active, and also symbolise independence and freedom.
I’ve always told people that there’s nothing more I love than my freedom and I hate being tied down. I envy how horses are able to run free in any direction they want without anyone stopping them. (Well, wild ones not these pet ones 😂)
From all the traits said above, the one personality trait I’m most proud of myself is being able to be strong and independent. I’ve been privileged since I was a kid. I never had to learn how to do my own laundry or wash the dishes until I decided to move out and be on my own as a young adult. As a person who has been spoon fed my whole life, I found it very hard learning to adult when usually everything would be done for me. A lot of people who knew me back then weren’t confident that I could make it alone and would crawl back to my family. Well, instead, I travelled around the world living in different countries the past 7 years and worked hard to stay on my own two feet. So far I’ve lived from Hong Kong to Thailand, France, Singapore, Malaysia and now starting England as my next adventure. This is also where I can get my sense of freedom.
I’m about to hit the big three zero in a few months. Although I feel like I haven’t done much or achieved much and especially this year being so crazy with so many (I really mean - THE MOST) ups and downs making me feel defeated. One thing I want to be thankful for this year is learning to self-love, we are our own biggest critics and I’ve realised that I’ve been so hard on myself. I’ve learned that what’s most important isn’t money or status but health and happiness. I am so proud of myself for coming this far working hard on my own and improved so much as a person. I am my own dark horse and I will keep thriving and wont stop until I am the person I was born to be 🖤🐎

❌ TỪ VỰNG BAND 7 TOPIC ROBOTS ❌
- Artificial intelligence (n): Trí tuệ nhân tạo
- Sophisticated (adj): Tinh vi, tỉ mỉ
- Domestic tasks (n): Việc nhà
- Debut (n): Sự xuất hiện lần đầu tiên trước công chúng
- Humanoid (n): Rô bốt hình người
- Personality trait (n): Tính cách
- Important figure (n): Nhân vật quan trọng
- Strike up conversations (v): Bắt chuyện
- Era (n): Kỷ nguyên
- Demanding job (n): Công việc đòi hỏi cao
- Peforming surgery (v): Thực hiện phẫu thuật
- Adverse effect (n): Hệ lụy tiêu cực
- Human labor (n): Nhân lực lao động
- Manufacturing zones (n): Các khu chế xuất
- Labor-intensive (adj): (Chỉ công việc) Cần nhiều lao động
- Automaton (n): Rô-bốt
Part 1
Are you interested in robots? (Bạn có hứng thú với rô-bốt không?)
(Answer) One hundred percent yes, I have always taken an avid interest in all kinds of technological innovations and artificial intelligence is no exception. (Reason) I think robots with extremely enormous memory are getting more sophisticated and they will soon be a tool that can help humans with a lot of things such as domestic tasks or even replace people in workplace.
Part 2
Describe a technological application that you are impressed with. (Mô tả một ứng dụng công nghệ mà bạn ấn tượng)
(Answer) Today I would like to talk about a robot which made its debut on a daily news program that I saw a couple of weeks ago.
(Reason) The news was the introduction of a humanoid named Sophia - the first robot citizen of the world. Sophia was developed by a robotics company that is best known for its development of human-shaped robots with artificial intelligence. (Example) She is built based on basic human’s personality traits such as creativity, empathy, and compassion. She had the chance to talk to many different important figures in the field of technology. During every talk, she was interviewed as a human being, she knew how to strike up conversations with the hosts and I was totally impressed with the things that she could do. She could show different emotions on her face, imitate human gestures and even facial expressions.
(Example) Another intersting thing about Sophia is that she said she was the first robot to be on the cover for ELLE Brazil, a well-known magazine. She was also the focus of the world’s media as she announced that she would destroy humandkind. Honestly, I think Sophia would be the beginning of a new era when automation could do demanding jobs such as teaching people languages or peforming surgeries. Many people have raised concern about the adverse effects of artificial intelligence when they enter the workforce, but I reckon that it will be a great help to humans in the near future.

As we step into the period of Pisces, I stumbled across a a chart about Pisceans. How on earth do I get both sun and moon sign both as Pisces. How emotionally troublesome.
As the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac, Pisces contains within itself a little experience of all the signs. This gives Pisces Suns the ability to identify with people from all walks of life--from all backgrounds--in some way. These individuals are not only changeable and adaptable, they have open minds and tremendous understanding. But Pisces itself is often misunderstood. Pisces Suns may spend a good portion of their lives yearning for understanding, and the other part in a state of divine discontent. Suffering is sometimes glamorized in the Piscean world.
Sun in Pisces people are frequently pegged as wishy-washy, but this is all a matter of opinion. What you will find behind a vaguely directionless, spacey manner is a deep person with real dreams. Their dreams are more than getting that picket fence or making it up the corporate ladder. Pisces are tuned in to a higher purpose and their dreams transcend the individual. A deep love for humanity, and compassion that knows no bounds is found with this placement of the Sun. Pisceans are not known to be cutthroat business types, nor are they given to throwing themselves out into the world in an aggressive manner. But make no mistake about it, Pisces can be extraordinarily successful when given the chance to express themselves. The arts, marketing, music, teaching, drama, healing arts...these are all fields in which Pisces can find expression. Their imagination, attunement to humanity, and remarkable intuition endow them with enviable gifts of insight and creativity.
Pisces is a sensitive sign--both sensitive to criticism and sensitive to others' feelings. Easily touched by human suffering, at least in theory, Pisces wouldn't hurt a fly. They believe in people, are deeply hurt by compassionless human behavior, and have a hard time saying no. Harsh realities are avoided either through escapist behavior or self-delusion; but every now and again reality does raise its ugly head, and hits Pisces over the head. This is a sad time indeed. Pisces retreats into their own world, self-pitying and giving pep talks to themselves ("I will never trust again!"). Rest assured, though, that these periods are rather short-lived and even useful. Pisces seems to derive energy from their (generally short) bouts of self-pity. They come back stronger, with a spring in their step, ready to face the world again, and just as, if not more, compassionate and trusting as they were before. Some might even wonder if Pisces finds pleasure in suffering. Sometimes this is the case, but most of the time, Pisces pulls a lot of creative energy from sadness. Pisces is the poet or artist with angst, although this trait is often more apparent with Moon in Pisces.
Some find Pisces' tendency to be late for appointments, spaced out behavior, and absent-mindedness amount to irresponsibility. Pisces would be shocked to know this, however. Who me? Pisces wonders. Irresponsible? Pisces Suns absolutely care--their love knows no bounds--but their retreats from ordinary life (whether they are as simple as daydreams or actual departures) that they so seem to need every now and again are not always understandable to no-nonsense signs, such as Virgo or Aries. Many Pisces seem almost allergic to things like shopping lists, maps, directions, and instructions, and for some brave souls, even watches -- they prefer to feel their way through life than to follow some plan. We find plenty of artists, poets, and musicians with Sun (and other personal planets) in Pisces. Piscean themes are woven throughout the songs of Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, for example.

The mission was clear: Go to the NBA. Take over. Do so in a way that told the basketball world a new era had arrived.
If you were not a part of his inner circle, Allen Iverson didn't give a damn about you. The thing is, he was atypical in that he wanted you to know it, specifically because it was his way of saying he knew you would never give a damn about him anyway, no matter how much you smiled in his face.
His talent would make you care.
His performance would make you salivate.
His achievements would make you kneel.
All the way to the Hall of Fame, someday.
Iverson's story is not foreign, of course. It's similar to that of many players in today's NBA. Most are African-Americans. Most come from impoverished backgrounds. Almost all strive to elevate themselves to a level of greatness that has forced a global audience to pay attention, to emulate, then join.
Yet very few have ever impacted basketball like Iverson. No matter how hard they try.
"I always tell folks I played every game like it's my last," Iverson said earlier this week, in advance of his Hall of Fame induction on Friday. "And I meant that. But sometimes I don't think people realize what I mean when I say that. It's not just about playing so hard; it's why I played so hard. You know what I mean? It's what I wondered would happen to me if I didn't do it.
"You've got to know my history and how I truly feel to realize where I'm coming from."
But few will ever know. No matter how hard they try.
During to a career that would culminate with Iverson averaging 26.7 points per game, winning four scoring titles and one MVP -- at 6 feet, 165 pounds -- folks witnessed his heroics but barely knew the intimate challenges he faced.
Iverson knew being incarcerated, then granted clemency, wasn't a likable trait for Madison Avenue; that he wasn't the ideal spokesman for the NBA. Iverson knew a visibly polished Kobe Bryant was preferable to the tattoos, cornrows and street persona proudly worn on the sleeves, neck and elsewhere on this former All-American out of Georgetown.
But Iverson also knew everyone couldn't be Bryant or Michael Jordan. He knew that if MJ and Kobe -- and no one else -- were the standard, society wouldn't have a true depiction of NBA stars to come.
"I was 6 feet, so folks could relate to that," he once told me. "I was 165 pounds, so folks could relate to that. But I was also someone who wanted to be me, judged for what I do and who I am, instead of what you say I'm suppose to be. It's true that some [people] don't want to play the game, but a lot of dudes don't know how to. And even the ones that do, most ain't going to be accepted. So what about them?"
Even today that is still a legitimate question.
LeBron James has helped provide answers by showing you he can be a champion, pre-eminent role model and global icon, even if tattoos are draped all over his body. Steph Curry has proven as much, as well, by being a baby-faced, long-range assassin who, at 6-foot-3, looks like a regular dude instead of a Goliath of a man.
From Carmelo Anthony to Chris Paul to Dwyane Wade and beyond, players are speaking not just with their play on the court, but with their willingness to address issues off the court. And although Iverson is no innovator in that department, his willingness to express himself certainly made it easier for athletes to open up more in a day and age that's demanding it, not asking.
