When I pray in tongues, I receive revelations, prophetic words, and visions. Sometimes also words of knowledge for fellow believers who need healing or are struggling with an area in their life.
Praying with the understanding can become difficult and tiring as the mind struggles to find words to pray.
However, with praying in tongues, the utterances supplied by the Holy Spirit just roll off the tongue.
I can even pray in tongues while reading a book or doing my other types of work, proving that it’s not gibberish fabricated by the mind, but rather it’s from the Spirit in your spirit, so the mind does not have to be activated for it.
In my opinion, praying in tongues is the prayer of perfect faith because you have to trust that you are praying for the right things according to God’s will since you cannot understand what you’re saying.
You must have full trust in God, that whatever you are saying will work for your good, and not produce an outcome that you dislike or dread.
This inability to understand what you’re saying in tongues works for your good. Your mind cannot doubt what it does not understand.
If we knew what we were saying in tongues, many of us would be scared and not leave home. If the words were intelligible, the devil would be able to form some kind of counterattack to stop God’s plans.
I am glad that through tongues we can pray without understanding what we are saying. This way, we can cooperate with God to speak His will to pass.
Keep this life-giving river flowing by muttering in tongues under your breath throughout the day. This is how you can pray and give thanks to God at all times in a restful and easy way.
No devil, man, nor our own unbelief can hinder the good things that are coming as a result of praying the pure words of God!

Happy Independence Day Malaysia! 🇲🇾✨
Let’s take a look at this case where the central incisors decided to be “independent” of each other….Yeap, we’re talking about Median Diastema [spacing between your front teeth].🤗
Why not Braces? 🤔 Answer’s in the second part of this caption.☺️But first, let’s walk through the treatment. 🦷
To achieve this result:
Composite Restoration removal • Smile Design • In-office Dental Whitening • Mock-Up • 8 unit Composite Veneers
Patient initially came in with old, overhanging composite filling on her centrals (swipe left to see). Note that how the overhanging margins have caused Gingivitis!
We discussed about the treatment option of getting Orthodontics treatment (“braces”) to close the gap after filling removal, but before that, we have to consider 2 things:
🦷 Width of the Central Incisors and the Laterals might not be of the proper proportion after filling removal. IPR may be required on the laterals to balance out the ratio.
🦷Patient still has a Class III occlusion (lower teeth are in a more “frontward” position) despite having Braces done before. We might need lower IPR/premolar extractions/retraction with TADs if we were to close that upper teeth gap.
A few other treatment options were discussed and in the end, she decided to proceed with composite veneers.
It is important to discuss treatment options with the patient and go through the pros and cons with them. I always allow my patients to think about their treatment options for a few weeks prior finalising the treatment plan to better the outcome and expectations.☺️
Have a great holiday and a great week ahead yall!🤗

The power of a smile!😁Not only he smiles so much more vibrant now, but looks younger too! 🤩✨ I had male patients hesitant to get smile makeovers because “men don’t need to look good like women do” but I absolutely disagree because EVERYONE deserves to have a set of nice teeth!🦷
Peg laterals combined with chromogenic stains has given a suboptimal smile to this patient. With the power of digital smile design, we did two mock-ups for him:
- Veneers modifying peg laterals
- Veneers from 4-4
Patient decided to proceed with 8-unit Emax veneers to better the smile arch as well as improve the shape of his other teeth.
To achieve this result:
In-office Dental Whitening • Smile Design • Mock-Up • Ceramic Veneers
The tricky part to the peg lateral prep is how far back should we extend the margins. We need to give adequate porcelain thickness for best aesthetic outcome as well as patient comfort (no one likes “winged” veneers, thanks to my ceramist’s teaching🙏), so we wrapped the margins a little pass contact point.
Since most of you have asked,I’m using EXOCAD to help with my digital smile design. As “digital” as we can go, it is still important to understand patient’s concern, as well as the essentials of a smile.
Credits go to the ceramist who did an amazing job at creating such beautiful characteristics as well as the translucency that I really REALLY love! 😍
Special thanks to my mentor @hakienoon for always guiding me to better smile makeover cases!

[1/3] I got FULL MARKS for this composition as part of my IB Music HL composition coursework (25% of my final grade)!!!! Note: some of the dynamic markings are messed up because im recording this on panorama mode :(
This song is a rewrite based on my previous IGCSE composition 'The Maze Runner' (https://youtube.com/watch?v=3VpPBgywVzA)!
Reflective Statement:
My initial intention for ‘Haunting’ was to compose for mallet quartet describing my own IB journey. I wanted to experiment with a 5-octave marimba, and was also intrigued by extended ternary form (AABA) in chamber music. I was inspired by the soundtrack from “Legend Of The Wind” by Studio Ghibli, but was also influenced by minimalist music such as “Mallet Quartet” by Steve Reich. A performers note has been included to help clarify the meaning of each section and to convey its meaning.
I began composing this piece on the marimba with the intention of a four-mallet marimba solo due to its wide range. However, I then decided to expand it to a small ensemble so that I could experiment with different textures, timbre and harmonies. As a result, I fragmented the main melody to include more tone colour in the piece. As a percussionist, I was aware of the many unique techniques capable of the marimba and vibraphone, thus I wanted to exploit that and transform my composition by writing in unconventional techniques and notations (such as handle- on-handle and rapid glissandi) and was able to choose more interesting rhythms. I developed my piece by adding an entire section using mainly triplets to create a contrast in rhythm, which helped create a climax.
The outcome of this piece is that I learnt how to develop ideas from fragments of melody, and how to compose a rhythmically challenging piece whilst still maintaining an overall cohesiveness. I also learnt how to compose for a repetitive melody yet still being able to add colour and maintain interest as the piece progresses. As a result, this lead me to discovering many vibraphone techniques I hadn’t learnt prior, such as mallet-dampening and learning how to use the pedal properly!
