Thanks Cheah Liang Teacher for spending time with us this two days! Fetching us from Jetty to the hotel, brought us to enjoy local food in Penang, picked us up from hotel to race site as well and share lots of stories with us. Enjoy chatting with you. Thanks again Teacher!

And finally, I am home after a 7 hours bus ride back to KL and my parent came to the bus station and picked me home. Thank you!
Brought back my Fifth Penang Bridge International Marathon 10KM Men Open Trophy.
Three Kenyan dominated the Top 3, and One Ethiopian in 4th position, and I came in 5th position in Men Open with the time of 36:47 min. Happy to defend my Fastest Malaysian title again for Third Time in a row since Year 2015 although there's no prize for that, no category for that, but at least I can claim that title under my belt. Timing wasn't fast but good enough, running along from 3rd km onwards. The first pack too far away, and the pack behind me was also too far away. So working alone all the way and this year the traffic on the bridge wasn't that bad but still I did about 8-10 zig zag turns to pass through runners. They flagged off the Junior Boy's and Girl's 10km at 6am then only Men Open at 6.30am and followed by Women Open at 7am.
This might be the last time I joined Penang Bridge International Marathon (10KM Men Open) if they do not include (Fastest Malaysian category (if not don't organize 10k event), also the group flagged off time issue, prize money ceremony delayed issue). Delayed the prize giving ceremony up to few hours later since I first join the event in 2013. Top 3 runners need to wait for so long (not sure what's the reason behind). Not follow according to schedule. Lots of issue in their management as we are like a football to them. Being kicked here and there from Secretariat tent to Prize Giving stage. I experienced once last year as I got Third placing. Secretariat counter said I need to go to the stage and get the mock cheque first then redeem the prize money. Then Prize Giving stage said they don't have prize giving ceremony for 10km category. Wondering are they from the same management team or?
So is this consider International Marathon with such standard?
I hope the organizer seen this post and will improve the race next year. Runners from PBIM this morning, what do you think they need to improve? Feel free to comment here.
Also, Thanks to all my sponsors who supported me in my running Journey.
