Trying out how good the Samsung Galaxy S8 is for vlogging, I used an older headphone for the audio though and headphone you get with the S8 as I left it in the box in Holland. Also probably gotten better audio if i used the Rode smartlav, but I wanted to listen to music while I was hiking. Pretty much what I had with me was the Samsung Galaxy S8 and DJI Mavic Pro and no tripods or any other cams so I could have a lightweight hike up the mountains, without bringing overload of gear.

This is a quick test of the Commlite CVM-V01SP Smartphone Lavalier Clipmic in a vlog style with my phone the Samsung Galaxy S5. During the test found out that the camera app actually adds quite the compression by removing a lot of the environment noise, but when using proper audio recorder app where you can choose the audio bitrate, it sounds much better.

This is a quite an affordable phone lapel mic that works really, especially for Youtubers and filmmakers who are on a budget and want to capture good quality sound.
