慈函同學的作品The FLOW，以透明薄殼交疊下搭配玫瑰晶、杏桃橘、寧靜藍內部構件，多色運用卻無違合感，使整體作品設計呈現細膩優雅質感。

The FLOW此作品是為sKY_Associative與CHIMEI| MODEX、資策會合作的「3D列印跨領域應用產學合作案」的設計作品，是以18個片狀、交疊的薄殼及相對應結構件連接中間的燈座而組成。此作品想要研究的是弧線和漸變，首先在2D的環境中創作圖樣，9個具有相同規則的面狀，只由一點控制其弧形漸變，最後分別轉角度並且flow到3D環境中，形成疊加的橢圓形結構。材料的選擇上，使用了透明ABS，讓光線打出時，呈現柔霧感和溫和的燈光效果，也強調漸變的陰影效果和氣氛。為了要製造出此有趣的陰影變化，在3D列印過程中，首要注重的是薄殼列印技術，同時提高列印成果的材料透明度和結構強度。

“FLOW” is one of the design projects from the 2018 sKY_Associa- tive-CHIMEI | MODEX collaboration, consists of 18 thin overlapping shells and corresponding structural parts connected to the middle of the lamp holder. This work studies arcs and gradations by first creat- ing patterns in a 2D environment, controlling the curved gradations, and finally flowing onto the 3D environment to form an overlapping oval-shaped structure. Sponsored in part through a collaborative effort with the Institute of Information Industry the choice of materials, transparent ABS is used to give a soft and misty effect with a gentle light effect to emphasize the gradation of light and shadow as well as creating atmosphere. In order to generate this interesting shadow play, in the 3D printing process, the primary focus was on developing the thin-wall printing techniques to improve the material transparency while maintaining structural strength of the printed results.
