走红毯前，他就在我身旁，他一脸疑惑地看着我，我看着他，他向我点头微笑，我也向他点头微笑；那刻，我不敢提出合照要求。后来活动开始，他获奖后走到室外，我心想再不合照就没机会了。于是，目击他拒绝他人合照要求的我还是提起了勇气。。。
嗯，结果就这样了，呵呵✌️ 最后，身边的伙伴知道我很害羞，替我向他介绍说我是马来西亚演员，我俩四目交接，相互客套地笑了笑，我向他鞠个小躬道个谢，他也回礼。在欲转身离开之际，他竟主动向我握手，我当然也含蓄地跟他握了手，然后就回到活动场地了。

香港音乐剧《喝彩》（由高志森导演执导）第二次到马来西亚巡演，分别在槟城、曼绒、怡保和吉隆坡，一共10场。而在音乐剧的尾声，高导演特别加了一段迷你演唱会，让观众回味一些未能在剧中穿插的经典歌曲，也藉此让狄妃开金口，与男主角黄嘉威合唱一首《谁令你心痴》。
《喝彩》在香港丶澳門丶中國內地有些演出版本是有舞者加入演出的，但這個處理未在馬來西亞出現過，這次狄妃的參與，讓《喝彩》給吉隆坡觀眾新的觀感，也是大馬藝人與香港舞台劇表演者一次藝術交流，拼發火花的機會，希望這是港馬兩地舞台藝人同台合作的好開始。
第一次尝试舞台剧的狄妃，在此次演出并没有太多戏份，全场以舞蹈方式演出。在剧中，她需要以零对白的方式，仅仅以身体语言以及舞蹈和两位男演员 （陈键豪和黄嘉威）进行互动，对她而言是一个新的挑战。
张国荣、陈百强虽然离开我们多年，但他们的歌声依然回荡在我们心中，他们的传奇故事仍被世人广为传颂。著名导演高志森特意为所有张国荣、陈百强的歌迷及那个渐渐远去的“80”年代，献上极具纪念意义的音乐剧《喝彩》。
