請讓我來介紹一下我的新家人! Sir Andouille Russet Odie Bacon Huang! (外號叫做 Dewey) 😊
這超可愛的香腸小狗狗才四個月大,然後跟我們住在一起很和樂!牠超愛牠的兩個貓咪哥哥,常找牠們一起玩!不過奇妙的是,只有比較兇的比較瘦的橘色貓咪哥哥會想跟牠玩,另一個胖胖的溫柔的灰色貓哥哥只是覺得牠很煩!哈哈
沒關係!至少大家都很和平,而且灰色胖哥應該只是在先讓Dewey做好自己再來得到他的尊重。😂

This lil potato-ey sausage is barely 4 months old and has fit right in at the Furternity house! He absolutely adores his feline brothers and constantly follows them around, relentlessly trying to engage them in play. Ironically, only the skinny, mean, orange one (Nelly) seems to enjoy Dewey’s youthful exuberance, while the fat, sweet, gray one (Skipper) just kinda finds him annoying. lol
‘s’all good though, Skip is just making sure the lil cajun sausage pays his dues, like Skip had to before gaining the OG Willie D’s acceptance back in the day! ❤️ 😂

#這是我上班的護身符
從我開始學習結帳檯,真的是嚇個半死。
所以我的小本本已經跟著我半年之久了!
結帳檯的運作基本上如下列方式找產品
由於蔬果都是照英文26字母下去找種
26個字母分成四等分下去
譬如:A-G 等等
但還會區分季節限定蔬果
這都只針對沒有掃貓條碼的生鮮蔬果為主
但像是我們公司
光是一個季節性單一南瓜
就有分成Butter Squash/Acorn Squash⋯等
還細分為 有機/ 無機
然後那個小黃瓜
跟另外一種奇形怪狀像絲瓜的東西
檸檬還不是只有檸檬
還要分黃色的是檸檬/綠色的是萊姆
另外像是Potato 馬鈴薯
也能分成 Russet / Gold / Red 種類
由於我希望自己在結帳檯工作順利,
因為我自認覺得我學英文很被動很懶,
所以只好筆記來補強自己工作效率。
反正總歸來說,
人生第一次超市經驗就獻給了非母語國家
沒有把我嚇到屁股尿流,
大概也是鎮定偽裝得太好🥶
其實結帳檯不只腦袋在找產品要快,
還要應付客人跟客人問好,
遇到GGYY的客人你也是要應付
至少不想跟GY的奧客對眼
我可以盯著我的小本本看就好🤪

Some facts about me and potatoes.
Since young I like to eat fries and I prefer the fries that came from slicing the potatoes (not the frozen fries that you can get from the freezer in the market).
Till now I am still love the original taste of the fries made from potatoes (prefer US russet potatoes).

レストランで食べるニョッキがおうちで作れる!混ぜて形を作るだけなので、とっても簡単に出来るレシピです。

もちもちニョッキ
2人分
材料:
じゃがいも 中4個
塩 小さじ1+じゃがいもを茹でる際に少々
黒コショウ 小さじ1
卵 1個
薄力粉 190g+少々
バター 大さじ2
セージ 適量
作り方
1. 鍋にお湯を沸かし塩を入れ、じゃがいもを入れる。フォークがスッと通るまで、20~25分茹でる。水分を切り、冷まして粗熱を取る。
2. 皮を剥いてボウルに入れ、塊がなくなるまで潰す。塩、コショウを加え、よく混ぜる。
3. 真ん中にくぼみを作って卵を割り入れ、中心から混ぜる。徐々に外側のじゃがいもを加えて手で混ぜ合わせる。
4. (3)を作業台に載せる。薄力粉2分の3(約130g)を上から振りかけて素早くこねる。ベタつく場合は残りの薄力粉を少しずつ加える。生地がまとまったら4等分に分け、直径2.5cmのロープ状になるまで伸ばす。ロープ状の生地を2cmほどの幅で四角く切り分けて薄力粉をまぶす。残りの生地も同じようにする。
5. ニョッキを成形する。(4)で切り分けた生地をフォークの先に軽く押し付けながら転がし、また中央を指で押して、成形する。
6. 鍋に水と塩を入れて沸騰させ、何回かに分けて茹でる。くっつかないように時々混ぜ、ニョッキが浮いてきたら、15~30秒後にすくい出す。
7. 中火にかけたフライパンにバター、セージを入れる。ニョッキを加えて薄いキツネ色になるまで炒めたら、完成!
Homemade Potato Gnocchi
for 2 servings
Ingredients:
4 medium russet potatoes
1 teaspoon salt, plus more for the water
1 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour(190 g), extra to dust
2 tablespoons butter, for pan frying
sage leaf
Preparation
1. Add the potatoes to a large pot of cool salted water. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until a fork can easily pierce a potato. Drain the potatoes and set aside until cool enough to handle but still warm.
2. Using a peeler or your fingers, remove the skin from the potatoes. In a medium bowl, mash the potatoes until all lumps are gone. Add the salt and pepper and mix well. Make a well in the center of the potatoes and crack an egg into it. Whisk the eggs briefly. Then, using your hands, gently mix it into the potatoes until evenly distributed.
3. Put 1 cups of flour onto a clean surface and turn out the potato dough onto it, keeping the remaining ½ cup close by in case you need it. Working quickly and carefully, knead the dough, only incorporating as much flour as you need along the way until the dough loses stickiness and becomes more solid. Slice the dough into 4 parts. Roll out 1 part into a long rope, about 1 inch wide, cutting in half and working with 1 half at a time if the rope is becoming too long. Slice the rope into ½-inch squares and set aside on a lightly floured surface. Repeat with the remaining dough.
4. If desired, place a fork on your work surface and slide each gnocchi square from the base of the fork prongs to the top so they make a decorative shape.
5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the gnocchi in batches, stirring gently once or twice to ensure they are not sticking. Boil until they float to the surface; after another 15-30 seconds in the water, remove.
6. In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the sage. Add the gnocchi and toss until lightly golden.
7. Enjoy!

Shepherd’s Pie ni for me antara menu yang kalau Mom’s ada anak dara & anak bujang, ajar sekali je mesti diorang pandai buat dah, sama macam aglioeolio jugak ☺️ Menu ni husband yang rajin buat dulu-dulu, sama macam scotch egg, tapi dia dah lama tak buat, reason macam yang I cakap dalam video ni lah ? Lagi satu dia kalau nak masak sangat, kadang tu tak cukop bahan pon dia masak je, jadi kadang-kadang tu I rasa macam cowboy je, bayangkan pernah nak masak scotch egg tapi breadcrumb takde, dia goreng macam tu je ?
