เรื่องราวของ Sakura Kakumei จะเป็นช่วงยุค Taisho ปีที่ 100 กับประเทศญี่ปุ่นที่กำลังฟื้นตัวจากหายนะ พร้อมกับการค้นพบพลังงานชนิดใหม่ที่เรียกว่า "Mirai" แต่ประเทศก็ยังคงมีภัยคุกคามจากเหล่าปีศาจที่เรียกว่า Kouki รวมไปถึงการชิงอำนาจคืนจากจักรวรรดิของกลุ่มผู้ต่อต้านอันแสนดุเดือดนั่นเอง
