It is a pretty known fact that one of the reasons why Sarawak is what it is today is because of them - the Brooke family. But there is so much more to it. The influences and lasting changes that they have made upon this land makes such an impact that even a feature film is being made about it right now as we speak. There is such rich yet unique history that this land holds that is second to none, and Brooke Museums (both Brooke Gallery and Ranee Museum) holds so much of those stories all in one place. If there is any place to learn about it, it would be here. Also, it is also no surprise that this is one of the popular spots in the city. It is such a picturesque spot in town!
That said, I’ve always had this creative photo concept that I wanted to bring to life. Why did I chose this place? Because I feel that it is worthy of it. And if there was anyway that I can translate one aspect of this city’s beauty into a photo, it would be this.
