@unwomen has shared three things you can do if you think someone is in trouble:
1. Check in on them and ask them if they’re OK
2. Educate yourself about domestic violence and know the details of local helpline numbers or shelters.
3. If she tells you, or you suspect, that someone’s life is in immediate danger, call the protection units or the police.
