Shekinah Glory
Moses beheld the glory
Faith became plain sight
Radiant glowing cloud
Wispy streams of light
This is the Shekinah glory.
Dwelling place of Deity
The Spirit of God Most High
Saw fit to live in us
Did you ever wonder why?
He in us, and us in Him.
Moses left the Tabernacle
With a shining face
We with unveiled countenance
Are transformed by His Grace
From glory to glory.
It’s God’s presence in this body
Flooding every cell
Life and life more abundantly
The power that makes me well
God’s kingdom is within.
The Scriptures are a mirror
They show us who we are
Past the skin and bones
Faith takes us high and far
Enter the Holy of Holies
Through prayer you reach God’s throne
The more you go the more you live
Rendering you every way whole!

Did you enjoy my new poem above? It’s inspired by my amazement at having the Holy Spirit dwell inside us. Such glory and power that is available to us today—if we just have a bigger revelation about Him!
I love to write about God’s word as led by the Holy Spirit, and sometimes a particular revelation about God’s great majesty, glory, love and grace inspires me to write a song or a poem to capture that particular moment and the feeling I received in my heart.
I also write prophetic poems for those who hire me for it. It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit whispers the title into my spirit and within minutes, the rest of the poem materializes because it’s from Him.
