Sip Song is located beachfront at Repulse Bay's The Pulse. It is an awesome place for Thai food. The price is completely fair considering the taste, location, service and vibe! I had a few dishes here, and all the dishes were delicious and well balanced. Started with Roti Pancake (HKD95), the portion was small. It tastes like a pizza with some complex flavours and texture. Kao Phad Tom Yam fried rice (HKD165) was very flavorful, mixed with tiger prawns, lemongrass and kaffir lime. The chicken skewers (HKD85) were definitely the highlight, the satay was strong, and the meat was very moist and tender! Seriously, don't forget the Thai milk tea (HKD40), it paired well with all the strong-tasting dishes.

週末趁好天氣,和朋友們遠征淺水灣,到新登場餐廳 Sip Song 食個午飯。熱鬧的午後,鮮艷奪目的裝潢,與海灘上寥寥無幾的人影相映成趣。
餐牌非常簡單,食物主要分為6個大類 (Fresh/ Smaller/ Soup & Curries/ Grill & Whole Fish/ Rice & Noodles/ Vegetables & Sides) 。不如今次先由甜品說起,一道泰菜必備甜品 - 芒果燸米飯(圖2)當然少不了,有著厚厚椰漿在芒果表面,甜道適中,而且很濕潤。但我最喜歡的還是椰子粟米雪糕(圖3),圍著雪糕,有厚厚的燸米飯泡沫,非常美味。 這裡的甜品確是很不錯,紫薯雪糕(圖4)也是色味并存,而香蕉夾餅(圖5)配煉奶和朱古力醬,濃郁而不膩,食了一口,那香蕉的香味很突出。
而Fresh 前菜裡,我們選上了海鮮粉絲沙律(圖6),以及"Don't Tell Mom" 豬頸肉薄餅 (圖7) ,後者調味很平衡,微甜,薄餅微脆,加了一點點青檸,味道又更出色了。 但前者可以多一點辣勁,調味需要多一點點,口感卻相當突出,也是很喜歡的一道前菜。
主菜香茅魚露烤豬肋骨(圖8),豬肋骨慢煮後再炸,肉質既嫩,炸感不重,甜香為主,是不錯的主菜。而主食雞肉青胡椒炒寬河粉(Phad Kee Mao Gai, 圖9),雖然侍者提醒我們會很辣,但朋友們都認為一點也不辣,但河粉口感極佳,而且醬汁都掛在河粉上,只要調味足夠一點,相信是更好味!
飲品呢,這天覺得調酒師真的輕手了,點上了一杯Pandan Colada,酒精不足,但斑蘭和椰奶很好。希望下次有杯更像樣的雞尾酒啦~!
