This weekend I spent some time reflecting on the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) event that 台灣世代智庫 Taiwan NextGen Foundation partnered on last week, the CALD Youth Political Academy, where we had the opportunity to interact with politically active citizens from many #NSP countries.
Although the Academy was fully online this year, it was a great opportunity to build people-to-people ties between our like-minded organizations and do our part in solidifying the institutional backing of liberal values in our region of the world.
There is a strong emphasis on gamification at the Academy this year, a tool for enhancing or stimulating political action that is particularly suited to our current circumstances.
The CYPA is ongoing, but as for our tier of the program, I believe the hard work of all the CALD team as well as our own efforts not only made our tier run smoothly in a new format but truly provided an opportunity for political networking. With that in mind, a special thanks to Audrie Semeona Frias, Program Officer at CALD and Marcin Jerzewski, Research Fellow at TNF and primary facilitator for our tier, for their efforts on this program!
回顧上週台灣世代智庫與亞洲自由民主聯盟 (Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats, CALD) 合作舉辦的 CALD 青年政治學院 (CALD Youth Political Academy, CYPA) 活動，獲得了與不同新南向國家中，同樣熱衷於政治事務朋友互動的機會。
雖然今年改為全線上舉辦，但這仍然是我們與志同道合的組織之間，建立人與人之間的聯繫的大好機會，並透過此活動於我們這個地區，在鞏固制度對自由價值的支持上盡我們的一份心力。
今年的活動在「遊戲化」上有特別著墨：而以我們目前的情況看來，這項工具將在對政治行動給予鼓舞、賦權尤為適合。
CYPA 在目前還是個進行式，但對於我們計劃的這個階段來說，我相信 CALD 團隊與我們在此所做的不懈付出不只讓我們這個階段得以順利地以嶄新的形式進行，更確實地讓我們在拓展政治界的人際網絡上看到了新機。
有鑒於此，我對 CALD 的項目負責人 Audrie Semeona Frias 與台灣世代智庫研究員及本階段的主要主持人葉皓勤 (Marcin Jerzewski) 為本計畫所付出的努力表示由衷的感謝！
