It was a thrill to meet the USA women’s basketball team last night and watch them battle it out against Australia. Our team hails from the University of Maryland (my home state school) and is one of the top ten women’s basketball programs in America. The game was tight and we made a spirited comeback at the end, but we fell just short to a strong Australian squad. Thanks to Coach Brenda Frese and the "Terps" for coming to Taiwan, giving it your all, and displaying such sportsmanship. We're proud of you!
