Oh my, where do I even begin? When @amytanmusic told me that I will be representing @dumcmy, I was just speechless. I told her “No, there are other better pro singers in church than me! Get them!” She simply said, “Don’t be silly! You’re in means you’re in!” 😂
A few days submitting the audio/video, she asked (actually she TOLD lol) @darylltan and I to be part of the social media team and without hesitation, we agreed! We saw how much passion she and the core team had for this & we wanted to support them in any way that we can! And BAMMM, we were introduced to the super power-packed team (it’s like being called to be part of The Avengers, tbh 😆)
I am just so blessed & honoured to be a part of the AMAZING team (@amytanmusic @gilbertehtan @andyyeoh @stewmcilrath @juwitasuwito @gracesngmusic @johnjeeves @slowergent @shaunkamhere @janiceaimeekhaw ) that made this INSANE initiative happen (120 singers, all filmed & recorded SEPARATELY, guys!) ♥️ New friendships were formed, old friendships rekindled — working with people who are proactive & exude the spirit of excellence really made it so easy to work as a team! This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s blood, sweat, tears and pure commitment 😭
During this challenging time of pandemic, this beautifully written song by @karijobe @codycarnes and @stevenfurtick really gave me hope to continue to stay focused on Him and His words & promises.
