〈時間等過誰〉則是《你說 我聽著呢》社會影音小說計畫探討的第四個主題，第五首歌曲。與母親感情要好的吳克群，2018年歷經了錐心的喪母之痛，開始更深刻地感知時間，並對於時間開始有了與以往不同的體悟。
吳克群一直非常想知道母親最後還有什麼話想對他說，因此他希望能夠回到母親失去意識之前，再和她聊聊天。而唐家三少給出的答案則是「希望能夠回到妻子最快樂的時候」，他告訴吳克群，他的母親最後想說的無非就是希望孩子能夠一切都好，他們同樣都不忍讓摯愛再次痛苦，因此若能夠回到過去，希望吳克群也能和他一樣，選擇回到摯愛最健康快樂的時刻，再陪伴她們一次。聽到唐家三少這一席話，吳克群在鏡頭前流下了釋然的淚水，彷彿可以放下遺憾和悔恨，帶著母親最美好地樣子繼續往前。在這席談話的最後，吳克群將〈時間等過誰〉歌詞中的「人生很長 在你丟失之前都很長」、「人生很短 在你開始告別之後就很短」再加上了「人生很短，但你讓我明白了時間並不短」這樣的註解。
