SHOULD YOU QUIT YOUR JOB NOW?

“You have to help me quit my job!”

Even though the video was off, I could tell from Bria’s voice that she was in tears. This strong woman couldn’t keep herself together anymore.

“You’re experiencing strong emotions now. That’s very natural,” I said, wanting to help her feel safe and accepted.

After all, Bria and I had only met once in an event. Knowing that I was a coach, she reached out the next day to see if I could help.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from my years of coaching, it’s that when the person is emotional, you need to give them the space to feel it.

So as Bria sobbed, I stayed silent, feeling my belly rise and fall with each breath. After a short while, I could sense that her wave of emotion had passed.

“Shall we take one long easy breath together?” I asked.

I heard her breathing with me. I paused, allowing Bria the time to settle, then I asked her to tell me what’s so difficult to her about her job.

After listening to her sharing, I said: “I can definitely help you, Bria.” I heard a sigh of relief on the other end. “But only if you promise me you won’t quit your job yet.”

3 months after that conversation, Bria waltzed in my office one evening holding a bottle of red wine: “Let’s celebrate!”

She had a giddy grin on her face, the very special grin with a dimple that I’d come to love after many hours supporting her. “Oh! Is it okay for us to drink a glass of wine in our coaching session?” She asked.

I laughed: “Of course. What are we celebrating?”

Bria said, her face brightened even more: “I just realized today that I have the perfect job!”

The most fascinating thing about this story is that the “perfect job” she referred to was the exact same job she had practically begged me to help her quit.

Bria’s circumstances hadn’t changed. But her experiences of the circumstances had changed 180 degrees. Why? Because she did.

Bria’s story teaches me once again, that life is truly created from the inside out.

两个星期前我小妹就告诉我们这件事了。
她是药剂师。
我一直以为药剂师和pharmacy，多么斯文的职业和行业啊！没想到也会发生暴力事件。我忽略了，去pharmacy的人除了买棉花，维他命C的，其实还有不少病人。加上目前疫情当道，很多人怕见医生万一确诊会被关，所以先去pharmacy买panadol，止咳药等先自医。这无疑让站在前线的员工曝露在危险中。
她去年因在serve着一个阿婆让一个患咳疾的男人等待一下而被打到手淤青；最近也被一个女人恐吓要打她，还要确定我妹是否真的怀孕，是的话更要打（因为东西坏了要换要公司的批准需要时间处理她就不爽，而且还是她蓄意弄烂的。我妹的长文里有交代）。
我开玩笑叫他在胸前挂一个大大的牌子说你是Hamil/Pregnant/孕妇，希望顾客会谅解。她无奈的告诉我，她在怀着大儿子时，大腹便便快要生了，还是有顾客叫她从counter走出去蹲上爬上拿东西，明明他们自己可以自取的。虽然孕妇也不是什么都不能做，但有些人就以为im the customer im the king。
去年MCO1.0时，已开始要social distancing，她也遇到一个推开所有阻碍物硬要在我妹耳边说药名的人，我妹三番四次拒绝都不成功，那人还要硬闯，说不能让别人听到他要买什么药。结果那人要买的竟然是头痛药。
当然，被前来买避孕套的男人语言上性骚扰过也几次了。
还有更多的奇葩事就不说了。写的人和看的人都累。
更何况要面对他们的我妹。
可能你会说…
“叫他不要做啦”，我让他自己决定。
“叫她报警啦”，我当天就叫他赶快拿下cctv录影当存证，马上去报警。
“叫她公司请保安啦”，这个问题最好。她的老板屡接报告后早就该加强保安系统。希望这次会至少做一道门把客人和奥客分开。
“马来人吗？”，人品坏跟族群无关，这女的是马来人，打到我妹手淤青的男人是华人。
我们大家是群居的，即使不能相亲相爱，也应该要互相尊重。
每天面对群众，为了减低风险危及自己和家人，即使有一丝担心是否会影响胎儿，她都赶快去打疫苗了。
感谢第二轮去到现场的警察哥哥有马上处理案件并follow up。希望那个有前科（施暴，偷窃）的女人不会再来给麻烦（她昨天去报警说药行还没refund给她，当然mata不理她）。

**我大概翻译了我妹的长篇英文karangan，如下…
“自从这个马来Karen在 5 月 26 日到来后，我一直生活在恐惧中，因为焦虑，不得不申请1 周的病假。本以为一切都平静下来了，但当我在本周星期一回到工作岗位时，她再次试图通过电话恐吓我和我的员工。今天，我决定告诉全世界，有关这个拒绝蛮不讲理的女士。

长话短说，
1）她谎称戴了粉红色的手环，原因是她拒绝亲自取货而是要人送货，打电话10000次到药房骚扰我们，当我们因为繁忙而几次没有接电话时，她变得极具攻击性。
2) 损坏了我们的货物 3 次，每次投诉我们都要换一个新的。她最初拒绝将损坏的设备退还给我们进行交换，并且不得不与她协商很长时间。终于在第三次之后，她要求立即退款。
3）她在公共假期进来，但我们无法联系总部获得批准，然后要我为她打开收银台退钱。
4）她问“mana perempuan cina tu？！” 我告诉她我是这里的华籍员工，然后她开始把塑料袋里的东西扔向我。我躲在后面的房间里，因为我真的很害怕，所以立即打电话给警察。
5) 她闯入密室并威胁要打我。她想通过问“saya nak pukul awak！Awak pregnant kan？！”来确认我确实怀孕了。这样她就可以从攻击我中获得更多满足感。

So ever since this Malay Karen came on the 26th May, I was living in fear and had to take 1 week of MC due to anxiety. Thought everything was calmed and settled but when I was back to work on Monday this week, she once again tried to terrorize my staffs and me through the phone. Today, I have decided to show her to the world, the lady who refused to listen to reasonings.

Long story short,
1) Lied about wearing a pink band because she refused to pick up her stock personally but wants delivery instead, called 10000 times to the pharmacy to harrass us and when we did not pick up the phone for a few times due to the chaotic crowd, she became extremely aggressive.
2) Spoilt our goods 3 times, we exchanged with a new devices with each complaint. Refused to return the spoilt device back to us for the exchange initially and had to negotiate very long with her. Finally after the 3rd time, she demanded for an immediate refund.
3) She came in on a public holiday but we were unable to contact the HQ for approval, then demanded that I open the cashier for her money.
4) She asked "mana perempuan cina tu?!" and I told her I am the regular chinese staff here before she proceeds to throw the things in her plastic bag at me. I hid in the back room and called the police immediately as I was really scared.
5) Barged into the back room and threatened to beat me. She wanted confirmation that I am indeed pregnant by asking "saya nak pukul awak! Awak pregnant kan?!" so she can feel more satisfaction from beating me

Recently I got a lots of questions about how i got into wine industry..well it’s a long story but can be pretty short to be fair.(什麼啦！？）

Basically I dropped my career in Taiwan and went to work in an Italian restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. And that was the very start got me into wine... and the eager to know more and more...(thirsty already)

Last month I went to a restaurant in Singapore, had a bottle of Morellino di Scansano from Fattoria Le Pupille. I’m being very thankful as it is such a awesome food friendly wine while worth value fore money!

On top of that, It really reminds me of my very first Sangiovese I had, the type of wine I keep ordering and ordering after work...gosh you have no idea how good it feels to take the sip after the lonnnnggggg shift!

When I had the first sip, the memory all comes up. That was the time I didn’t know anything about wine, and all I wanted was a good juice with what so called good structure. Nothing serious, but just a glass of juice could compliment your night, that’s it!

Every bottle deserves a moment to shine, we just need to know when, and how.

不是只有貴的酒才是好酒。學葡萄酒讓我最開心的事是懂得找到適合的酒款、搭配適合的時機，讓每一瓶「好酒」發光發亮。🍷

───春のうららのお花畑です。一人と一匹の思い出のお花畑です。

こちらはウッドグルーベースのシックスライムです。
凄く分厚いのに、トロッとしています。
もちよすらいむ史上1番手離れがいいスライムです。
滑らかな手触りで、ベタつきがゼロです。
多少柔らかい状態で触っても、ベタつくことなく遊べます。

物語の主人公は、実家暮らしの大学生とその飼い犬です。
青年は無邪気で好奇心旺盛、少年のような心の持ち主です。
愛犬とはもはや血を分けた兄弟のように仲良く遊んでいました。

そんな彼も大学3年生、大人になる時が近づきます。

「〇〇大学の僕」「〇〇代表の僕」「ＴＯＥＩＣ何点の僕」
大人に近づけば近づくほどレッテルを貼られます。
誰もがそのレッテルばかりを見るので、本当の自分は置いてけぼり。
青年は自分を見失って、思わず俯いてしまいます。

おや？下げた目線の先、足元に何やらうごめく毛玉があります。

「何してるの？早く遊びに行こうよう」

相棒はただ純粋に、ただのひとりの少年と遊びたそうにしています。
その時、彼は気がついたのです。

「この世界一気の合う相棒は、本当の僕だけを見ている」
「こいつといる時は “ただの僕” でいられる！」

青年は、相棒といる時だけ「少年」に還るのです。

やがて青年は就職先を決め、実家を離れる時がやってきます。
家を出る日、彼が思い起こすのは相棒との暖かな記憶。

流れる川の音、ひらひら舞う蝶々、シロツメクサの花畑。
そんな春の陽気の中を颯爽と駆け抜ける、ひとりと一匹の足音。

彼は愛する相棒に誓います。

「僕は絶対に忘れない。君のことも、僕のことも」

──彼の周りは口を揃えて彼のことをこう語ります。

「彼は、とうとう、いまわの際まで少年だった」と。

──めでたしめでたし。

……という長すぎるバックストーリーでした笑
相棒と別れて「変わる」のではなく「変わらない」話でした。

このスライムも空気が入る前と入った後で手離れの良さが変わりません。
もこもこになってもずっとバブル音を楽しみ続けることができます。

机にしっかり張り付いてくれます。
伸びはまずまずで、この動画以上に早く触ると千切れてしまいます。
ゆっくり伸ばすとどこまでも伸びてくれます。
ウッドグルーならではのもったりずっしりしたテクスチャーです。
初めはツヤがあるのに、たくさん遊ぶとマットになります。

２倍くらいに膨らみます。
クレイは入って無いけど、クレイスライムみたいな見た目になります。
細かいバチバチがとっても楽しいスライムでもあります。

ホワイトチョコとパンの香りです！
ただ、ウッドグルー自体が香りが強いグルーなので「どちらを先に感じ取るかで香りの感じ方に個人差があると思います」……とスライムジャパン様も仰っていました（引用）

It was a "unchanged" story after a goodbye with his buddy.

This slime has the "unchange" ease of hold before and after it contains air.
You can continue to enjoy the bubble sound even if it fluffs up.

It sticks well to the desk.
If you touch it faster than this video, it will tear.

もちよすらいむ初のマイクロビーズスライムです。
アンティーク調の歯車を４つあしらいます。

このスライムは「社会の歯車になったら俺の良さが死んじゃう！」と駄々をこねて就活をサボる、ニート予備軍の青年のスライムです。
下の派手なクリアスライムが青年のユーモア溢れる多彩な個性で、上のマイクロビーズが「すでに社会に迎合した大人達からの圧」です。

さあ！モラトリアムを超えて、相反する2つの層が混ざります！
そこには一人の青年の葛藤があるのです！（もちよの脳内では）
こうやって混ざってく様子は、言わば人生の縮図です。

ああ……あっという間に混ざってしまいました…。

このスライムのミソは「混ざっても可愛い」というところです
クリアスライムに混ざっていたホログラムがいい味出してます
つまり、社会に迎合しても、青年の力強い個性は消えなかったのです！

という複雑な物語を考えながらこのスライムを作りました笑

素敵な個性のあるひとは、素敵な個性のある歯車になれる
歯車だとしても、自分らしくあれるなら悪くないじゃないか

私はこのことに気付いてからやっと就活を頑張る気になれました。

……いい加減テクスチャーについて話しますね笑

こちらはクリアベースのマイクロビーズスライムです。
ベース多めなので伸ばして遊びやすいです。
ビーズのおかげでバブル音が鳴りやすいです。
細かな粒々の感触はクセになる気持ちよさです。

手離れはビーズが落ちないギリギリを攻めました。
ですので「完璧にビーズは落ちません」とは言い切れません。
もしかしたら一粒か二粒くらい手に残る可能性があります。
その分いくらか手離れがよくなっているので、是非沢山遊んでいただきたいです！

アタタタタタタタァァッッ！！

実はこのスライム、とんでもなく膨らみます。
是非 5:43 に飛んでみてください笑驚きの膨らみです笑
このバブル音がストレス発散になり、皆様の活力になりますように……

皆様お気づきの通り、今回の「モラトリアムコレクション」は、絶賛モラトリアム期にあった私自身の葛藤をスライムに落とし込んでいます。

このじゅわぱちと、もこもこもとても楽しいです。
細かいバブル音も気持ちがいいです。

香りはシェフの気まぐれフルーツミックスです。
甘くて無難な感じの香りが優しく香ります。
