Faith Declaration: God’s Angels Guard Me in All My Ways
A wrong belief: “I wish Jesus would come down from Heaven and walk beside me to keep me safe. I feel so vulnerable down here on earth.”
“no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.” (Psalms 91:10-13 WEB)
Today, the Lord brought me back to Psalm 91 to teach me about the part about angels and the assistance that they render to us.
We are not left defenseless here on earth. You are protected from enemies, accidents, and sicknesses “for He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways”.
Angels (plural; not just one angel) are actively guarding you in your daily walk. Look how attentive they are—they bear you up such that you will not even dash your feet against a stone.
All this fantastic protective service is happening in the realm that is invisible to us. Angels clearing the way for us, assisting in times of trouble, and ministering to us, according to God’s command.
We are precious children of God, and as royalty, we have the most powerful defenders with us every day. They are invisible to us, but they are still around. We walk by faith, not by sight—we must believe God’s word.
How do you tread on the lion and the cobra? This is impossible with God’s intervention because if you approach these animals in the wild, they will attack you.
It can only be because our guardian angels are restraining these beasts, preventing them from harming us.
Think about Daniel who was cast into the lion’s den. An angel of the Lord had shut the lions’ mouths and stood in between so that they would not harm Daniel, even though the powerful beasts were starving.
“Then Daniel said to the king, O king, live forever. My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, I have done no hurt. Then was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.” (Daniel 6:21-23 WEB)
Think about the apostle Paul who was bitten by the snake after arriving on the island of Malta, and yet, the poison did not even affect him. Paul simply shook the snake off into the fire, and this became a powerful testimony to the island natives that the Jesus that Paul serves is truly God. Could Paul’s guardian angels have somehow disabled the snake’s venom before it was allowed to bite him?
In both Daniel and Paul’s situations, they were allowed to experience the appearance of danger, but the supernatural protection became powerful testimonies to glorify God.
In Daniel’s case, King Darius witnessed God’s power and wrote a decree which glorified God. In Paul’s case, the natives living on Malta were healed and saved, and the name of Jesus was greatly magnified.
God allows the semblance of danger at times so that He can swoop in at the right time with an amazing deliverance, to bring forth salvations and the furtherance of the Gospel.
God’s angels are assigned to protect His people. One-third of all created angels joined Lucifer in rebelling against God many years ago (Revelation 12:3-4), but the great news is that there are still two-thirds of angels who are on God’s side. There are more holy angels with us than there are demons against us.
Every day, I confess with my family, “Your angels guard us in all our ways.” No matter where you are and what you are doing, be conscious that you are so protected and loved by God!
A new faith declaration: “God’s angels guard me in all my ways. I am so loved and protected. God is for me, so I will tread and trample over all obstacles and enemies.”
I want to end off by sharing a powerful testimony about angelic protection from one of our patrons on Patreon. This is what the photo collage below is about:
“I was in a big accident 2017: a semi truck hit us at fast speed (trucks here are undisciplined), and I was also driving fast but it was a resident area. The truck tumbled (but those guys were ok), our car spun, I blacked out for seconds and when I opened my eyes my car was on the sidewalk. I sustained no wounds at all. My daughter was even in the car. I got dizzy but really no injuries, even though my car was wrecked. I always tell people that God helped because I prayed under my breath when I saw the truck in my face, but now I realized God did send His angels when I blacked out for those seconds…something did happen. Truly Psalm 91 never changes. Indeed, God's angels who are faster than lightning adjusted my car and kept us safe.” - Jema
Keep studying God’s word and growing in your understanding of His ways. Our Patreon community is currently on a Bible study series called “My Faith Declarations” which looks at the Spirit-inspired utterances of the authors of the Psalms. They wrote about the trials and tribulations they experienced, so the book of Psalms is very relatable.
By turning their faith declarations into our own, we can learn how to overcome similar circumstances in life through faith in the Lord! Become a “God Every Morning” tier or above patron on Patreon to receive this reward, daily devotionals by email, and also all my eBooks. My personal sharing. Last year July, I had the opportunity to be a volunteer together with some of my colleagues at Zoo Negara. As for me and my groups, we helped to clean the tigers and lions den.
I love animals so much since young. Seeing animals and wild animals in the zoo does make my heart break because it's not their natural habitat.
Unfortunately, we also live in a dangerous world where animals especially wild and endangered species are being poached, killed, abused, and day by day, these species becoming extinct. It's not a straightforward topic honestly, nothing is easy. There are pros and cons to everything.
I've been to Zoo Negara many times since I was a kid. Based on my observation these years, they are trying their best to conserve and care for the animals as much as they could. I've decided to support what I can by 'Adopt an Animal' initiative under Zoo Negara.
Today I adopted the Malayan Tiger, and hope to adopt more animals in the future. This financial support will help to maintain the animal(s) annual food, enrichment and veterinary care. It will help even more during this tough time because the zoo is close, but the animals still need to be taken care of carefully.
Adopt an animal starts from RM25. Adopt and donate as many as you can and hopefully with more support, these animals will have better lives. Here's the link to adopt an animal https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/18171/zoo-negara-adoption-package
A side note, I urge everyone to be more aware especially when we bring children to zoos is to educate and instill love for animals. Don't mock, knock, poke, shout, throw items and being disrespectful towards the animals. They are living being and have feelings. Let's pay some respect because that's the least we can do.
All lives deserves support, love and respect.

Are you going to let other people’s judgement hold you back and follow the flock of sheep?
Or are you going to embrace who you are, pursue your goals, and join the crowd of crowned lions?
You see, most people shy away and hide from the outside world.
They’re afraid of being judged for who they truly are.
They have this spark within them that wants to do great and wonderful things in their life.
When they look outside, they’re only met with people who judge them… who thinks they’re “weird” and “crazy”... and who tells them they can’t make their dreams come true.
However, it’s the people who stand out from the flock of sheep who become successful and impact the world.
Now, if you’ve been following my work for some time or just discovered our community, I want to get to know you better.
See, nothing makes me happier than getting to know other like-minded people who want to become successful, but who might feel like an outsider to the world we live in.
In a new training I’ve put together, I sit down with you one and one virtually and show you the one thing that helped me get to where I am today. And now 4,828+ people are doing it as well.
If you want to join me one-on-one, click the following link to get started now:

Will you embrace who you are and pursue your dreams? Give me a “Hell Yes!” in the comments below if you will.

I went to Dinokeng, a game reserve only around 30 minutes away from where I live. There are animals literally in my back yard, I guess you could say! My parents and I saw everything from giraffes to zebras to antelope. Mom kept thinking lions would come if I got out of the car, but I did get to walk outside and meet a giraffe up close!
This video is dedicated to my dearest friend Megan who died in this exact park a month after I made this video. Rest in peace, Megan.

We took a trip from Saga to Okinawa, and spent 5 days swimming, hiking, snorkeling, meeting friends, cooking, eating, and drinking.
We arrived during Obon, a festival that celebrates the annual return of the spirits of deceased relatives, which is held earlier on mainland Japan, so we got to see a lot of festivals, dancing, and live music.
The weather was great the whole time we were there, so we got to do pretty much EVERYTHING that was on our list.
In the video you can see Hiji Ootaki, a gorgeous waterfall, some DOUBLE RAINBOW action, sugar cane fields, mangroves, and tons of incredible beaches, including Moon Beach.
We also met former Jvlogger and Okinawa photographer Anya, who took some fantastic pictures for us, and introduced us to her wonderful family. Anya's work is definitely worth checking out, so please do so here:

We went snorkeling at Maeda-misaki, which is, apparently, a very popular spot for it.
Once the food and drink section starts, check out pictures of Habu-shu, liquor made with a very poisonous Okinawan snake inside. Nihede Beer, a cleverly named local brew ("Nihede BIRU" means "Thank You" in Okinawa-ben), Orion, made in Okinawa, Goya drink, Shikuasa juice, Abura-miso onigiri, Umi-budo (ocean grapes), a fish called Gurukun, Soki Soba, dragonfruit, and sata-andagi, the Okinawan donut.
We cooked Goya Champloo

Because of the long history of American military presence on Okinawa, there are a lot of American style restaurants and stores there. The burgers and Mexican food were fantastic.
In the stores, you can see many kinds of Shisa, which are decorative lions that Okinawans place on their homes and buildings to ward off bad stuff. We bought some small ones for our place.
And Ryuukyuu-mura is where you can see what Okinawa was like way back before it became part of Japan.
I highly recommend ALL of these places. Go check em out if you get the chance.
