冬至大如年，也被视为“团圆日”。
许多长辈在冬至仍坚持着“搓、煮、吃”汤圆，寓意团圆及长大一岁。而在一些地方仍保留“贴汤圆”的习俗。
“贴汤圆”始于宋朝，将2颗汤圆贴在家里的各个角落，如门、米缸等寓意着好事成双、阖家平安健康。冬至这天，记得回家陪伴长辈“搓、贴、煮、吃”汤圆，传承传统文化，需要你我一同坚持。

Dongzhi Festival is one of the most important Chinese festivals which represents a day for family reunion.
Until today, most elderlies still insist on making and eating the tangyuan or glutinous rice balls which symbolises reunion and the growing of “a year older“.
Yet, some of the Chinese community practises the traditional custom of “sticking tangyuan”. “Sticking tangyuan” started since the Song Dynasty where people would stick 2 tangyuan on every corner of the house such as the back of the door, rice vat, etc. This is a symbol of double blessings, peace and health in the family.
During this Dongzhi Festival, remember to be home with your elders. Gather, make and indulge on tangyuan balls together and remain this tradition ingrained in our culture.
