I was saving my Malaysia day post until I could catch a screening of @mformalaysia! I wanted to support this film for many reasons, one being that I voted on 9 May and it’s one of those memories etched forever. The sentiments, the disbelief, the shock and the impossible made possible. I was holding back tears watching the film and looking at the moments where the love of the country was felt by the dedication and duty of Tun M among the many others who helped make this new Malaysia possible. Our country is still working through its kinks and it’s all not perfect but I still have faith and I still have hope. Brilliant film! It’s a shame it’s not on bigger screens but grateful that I could book tickets nonetheless. Glad to catch up with my @supparetreat sisters!
