ยังคงมีข่าวลือมาเรื่อย ๆ สำหรับภาคล่าสุดของเกมแข่งรถในดวงใจใครหลายคนอย่าง Forza Horizon 5 ซึ่งในทีแรกมีข่าวลือว่าจะไปใช้สถานที่ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น แต่ต่อมาทั้ง Jez Corden แห่งสื่อ Windows Central และ Jeff Grubb แห่งสื่อ VentureBeat ก็ได้ออกมาพูดหักล้างว่าเกมนี้จะมีฉากหลังอยู่ที่ประเทศเม็กซิโกแทน

Grubb บอกว่ารูปหลุดที่เห็นก่อนหน้านี้ว่าเป็นประเทศญี่ปุ่นล้วนเป็นของปลอม ในขณะที่เขาก็ไม่ได้พูดอะไรเกี่ยวกับเม็กซิโกไปมากกว่านี้ ซึ่งแฟน ๆ ก็ยังคงต้องฟังหูไว้หู และดูความเคลื่อนไหวจากทีมงานว่าจะเป็นไปตามที่ทั้ง 2 คนได้บอกไว้หรือไม่ เช่นเดียวกันกับเรื่องที่ว่าเกมมีกำหนดขายภายในปีนี้ ที่ก็ยังคงเป็นข่าวลือรอการยืนยัน

นอกเหนือจาก Forza Horizon แล้ว Grubb ยังได้พูดถึงว่า IO Interactive ทีมสร้าง HITMAN กำลังทำเกมแฟนตาซีให้กับ Xbox ในชื่อ “Project Dragon” อยู่ด้วย โดยเกมนี้จะเป็น RPG ระดับ AAA ที่อยู่ในช่วงยุคกลาง และแน่นอนว่าจะมี “มังกร” อยู่ด้วยตรงตามชื่อ
