A few years ago, spending 4 months bouncing around between gyms would have frustrated me 😤 It’s almost impossible to progressively overload exercises when you’re constantly changing machines. Even if the “weight” is the same, there’s a myriad of different factors that will affect the load placed on the target muscles at different contractile lengths.

These days I’m just a different type of geek 🤓 I’m obsessed with admiring machines that are designed well, and the challenge of using ones that aren’t 🧩 I embrace the puzzle of optimising a piece of equipment and how the more experience I build doing so, the better rehearsed I am to help answer questions from coaches because I’ve done the thinking in advance 🤔

I’ve also learnt that you rarely come up with a great idea first time round. Provided you’re able to keep a mindset of what you currently think not being “the best” and there always being a slightly better solution, the more times you’ve been around the block, questioned your previous thoughts and adjusted the accordingly, the more refined your current thought processes will be 🧐

I train to force strong contractions, and I’m pretty sure that if I push myself hard enough I’m not going to get much weaker just because I’m not being a slave to my logbook 📋 Don’t get me wrong - I’m all for tracking and continued improvement in the pursuit of measured progress, and it has its time and place.

For me though, to sustain a passion for being in the gym for a lifetime, you have to follow what currently makes being in that environment as stimulating and fulfilling as possible 😃 In the past it’s been overcoming injuries, optimising for sports performance or just chasing numbers. Currently it’s growing my experience and challenging my critical thinking 🔣

Kinda cool how fun a place even the most alien and poorly equipped gym can become, once you’re equipped with the knowledge to take getting “creative” in the gym away from coming up with what is essentially resisted choreography 🕺🏻 and towards playing with The Exercise Continuum & The Exercise Equation (two RTS trademarks) ™️

Another big free update for No Man's Sky. This time it's a huge addition and a huge overhaul of new play system. Version 3.0

In the game version 3.0 with this Origins name is featured in the following updates.

- A new star to explore, more than a million in a new solar system which has been added.
- A new solar system will be more randomized into the system, making the interstellar journey more diverse.
- Random system. A new star environments that are creating more attractive wide mountains and more diversity.
- Adjust the new UI face to be easier to use and add new to the game.
- New Creatures of each star, which are randomly formatted according to the environment of each star.
- Meet Fuana, a new species of animal living in a new star. They will have new resources for players to harvest.
- Weather is more varied than before. Storms, clouds, fog and solar. The origins of light from various sources are more versatile.

In Prey, the player controls Morgan Yu while exploring the space station Talos I, in orbit around Earth–Moon L2, where they had been researching a hostile alien species called the Typhon. As the Typhon escape confinement, the player uses a variety of weapons and abilities derived from the Typhon to avoid being killed by the aliens while looking to escape the station. The player gains access to areas of the station by acquiring key items and abilities, eventually allowing the player to fully explore the station in an open world setting.
Arkane's Prey is largely unrelated to the 2006 game Prey developed by Human Head Studios, and is considered a reimagining of the intellectual property set in a wholly new narrative. While Prey 2, a sequel to the 2006 game, had been planned by Human Head, it fell into development hell following transfer of the intellectual property from 3D Realms to Bethesda Softworks, and was eventually cancelled in 2014. Arkane's game does not use any of the planned sequel's assets, and only incorporates the previous game's name and the broad theme of the protagonist being hunted by aliens. Arkane built Prey as a spiritual sequel to System Shock, providing the player with several potential means of progressing within the game.
Prey is a survival horror first-person shooter with role-playing and stealth elements set in an open world environment. The player takes the role of Morgan Yu, a human aboard a space station with numerous species of hostile aliens known collectively as the Typhon. The player is able to select certain attributes of Morgan, including gender, and decisions made by the player that affects elements of the game's story. To survive, the player must collect and use weapons and resources aboard the station to fend off and defeat the Typhon. According to creative director Raphaël Colantonio, the station is completely continuous rather than having separate levels or missions, at times requiring the player to return to areas they previously explored. The player is also able to venture outside of the station in space and find shortcuts connecting parts of the station. Colantonio also stated that the aliens have an array of different powers that the player character can gain over time; one such alien has the ability to shape shift into everyday items, such as a chair.
The game has multiple endings, according to lead designer Ricardo Bare; the endings fall into three major narrative structures depending on how the player broadly interacted with the station and surviving humans, but Bare said there are "tons of little permutations" based on specific events.
