Since we don't have tablets and the kids don't get to play with phones, they usually watch a cartoon or two and then have to find their own activities to do, be it drawing, reading or playing with each other.
We are very much into card games recently, especially after I taught them how to play Snap. (Who doesn't like a game of Snap, right?) So the girls have been playing it over and over again, and while the little sister would initially whine whenever she lost, she now understands that you can't possibly win everything in life. It's not the outcome but the process that matters and I'm glad she has come to realise and graciously accept that.
