Previously overweight at 92kg, Benny was a heavy smoker and had poor diet habits. At the age of 31, he suffered from kidney stones before he made the decision to change his lifestyle. He quit his smoking habit overnight and resolved to exercise regularly. 8 months into his fitness journey, he lost the bulk of 20kg. 4 years later, Benny is now the fittest and healthiest that he has ever been. Winning Kix HD's RUTE Challenge 2016 attests to his perseverance and approach to challenging physical and mental limits.
