This beautiful creation is one of the best-preserved ancient temples of Rome, located at the north east corner of Roman Forum. Emperor Antoninus built this temple in the honour of his beloved deceased and deified wife Faustina. The story kind of sounding like the story behind the making of Tajmahal, right? Who knows, may be they had their own story! This temple was also dedicated to the emperor after his death. This is why the name of this ancient temple is the temple of Antoninus and Faustina. May they live long among us through their creation!!
