ตามรายงานของ superdataresearch ระบุว่า ในตอนนี้ LoL ได้ตกไปอยู่ในอันดับสองของ 10 อันดับเกม PC ที่ทำรายได้มากที่สุดในโลก โดยเป็น DFO เกมแนว 2D Side Scrolling Action MMORPG จากเกาหลีใต้ที่เปิดให้บริการมามากกว่า 10 ปีเป็นผู้ครองตำแหน่งนี้แทน ซึ่งทั้งสองเกมเป็นที่นิยมอย่างมากทั้งในเกาหลีใต้เองและทั่วโลก และก็มีการสลับกันขึ้นอันดับหนึ่งอยู่บ่อยครั้ง

โดยสถิติที่มีการบันทึกไว้โดย superdata เช่นเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วระบุว่า DFO ทำรายได้รวมตลอดทั้งปีเป็นอันดับ 2 ของโลกที่ตัวเลขกว่า 1.6 พันล้านเหรียญฯ และเป็น LoL ที่ทำรายได้ตามมาในอันดับ 4 ทำไป 1.5 พันล้านเหรียญฯ ซึ่งในปีนั้น เป็น Fortnite ที่ทำรายได้เป็นอันดับ 1 โดยทำเงินรวมทุกแพลตฟอร์มไปกว่า 1.8 พันล้านเหรียญฯ (ราว 5.8 หมื่นล้านบาท)

ในส่วนของอันดับต่อ ๆ มาก็ได้แก่ Crossfire, Westward Journey Online II ที่ทำรายได้หลักในประเทศจีน, Doom Eternal, CS:GO, Borderland 3 และ Half-Life: Alyx ตามลำดับ ทั้งนี้ ข้อมูลดังกล่าว ไม่ได้มีการเปิดเผยตัวเลขรายได้ของแต่ละอันดับแต่อย่างใด

ทางด้านของ Console อันดับหนึ่งตกเป็นของ Animal Crossing: New Horizons ตามมาด้วย FIFA 2020, MLB The Show, Doom Eternal และ CoD: Mordern Warfare ตามลำดับ และในส่วนของ Mobile Game อันดับหนึ่งก็ยังตกเป็นของ Honour of Kings (RoV ต้นฉบับ) ตามมาด้วยเกมแนว Puzzel อย่าง Gardenescapes และ Candy Crusg Saga โดยมี Last Shelter Survival และ Pokemon GO ตามมาติด ๆ ในอันดับ 4 - 5

สำหรับตัวเลขรายได้ของวงการเกมทั่วโลกนั้นก็ได้เพิ่มขึ้นแตะหลักหมื่นล้านเหรียญได้สำเร็จแล้ว (ราว 3 แสนล้านบาท) เพิ่มขึ้นกว่า 11% เทียบกับช่วงเดียวกันของปีที่แล้ว โดยในตลาดของ Console มีอัตราการเติบโตที่มากกว่าของ PC อยู่เล็กน้อย ซึ่งก็น่าจับตามองว่า หลังวิกฤต COVID-19 นี้จะส่งผลโดยรวมต่อวงการเกมอย่างไรเมื่อมันจบลง ก็ต้องคอยติดตามในส่วนนี้กันต่อไป

Dear all,

In order to keep our animal haven running and meet our monthly operating costs, Pets Villa (Animal Lovers League Shelter) requires sponsorship for dogs and cats as well as a minimal boarding fee for the animals that stay with us.

Sadly, over the years, many of these rescued animals have been forgotten and left without sponsors. Many animals end up spending their lives at Pets Villa.

However, we may not be able to keep this up if our current financial situation does not improve.

We currently owe a sum of $48,000 (3 months rental). If this debt is not cleared by the end of June 2019, we may have to shut down permanently and our animals will be left with nowhere to go.

This safe haven we now have for the rescued, abandoned and forgotten in society will cease to exist.

Running Pets Villa has never been an easy task especially with the hefty food cost, medical cost and the cost of running this facility.

Will you reach out to help these animals stay alive?

We hope there is some light at the end of the tunnel. They had nowhere to go once, so we offered them hope. Help us keep this hope alive. These dogs and cats are counting on you.

So @kimlimhl with her heart of gold is an avid animal lover and have been a strong supporter of Animal Lovers League - ALL Authorized Page for years, so she got some of her friends together for a fundraising initiative for Animal Lovers League - ALL Authorized Page!

I must admit I’m not the most kind-hearted or selfless person around and kinda feel, erm, unworthy to be advocating anything charity related, but even a cynical person like me can imagine the immense difficulty in taking care of over 500 animals (be it abandoned, abused or rescued), which is what Animal Lovers League - ALL Authorized Page does - rain or shine, everyday. They are Singapore’s largest and longest running no-kill-shelter. This means they do not put animals to sleep, which would explain why the numbers are so high.

Everyday, volunteers from ALL will feed these animals, treat them if they are ill, bring them to vets, clean them, vaccinate them etc. As you can imagine, it’s tough work, and it is very expensive to maintain.

Therefore, this #ALLThatMatters fundraising initiative with @kimlimhl, Harper's BAZAAR, Singapore and Animal Lovers League - ALL Authorized Page hopes to raise awareness to the public. If you love our furry friends too you can help!
