去年的今天，美國UPS在新聞媒體上發表了他們自2000年改版制服之後的最新2019年改版，因為ＵＰＳ快遞員在工作上基本上跟運動員很類似，所以睽違九年後的新制服，就因為這個原因採用了適合運動排汗的材質與設計。
實在很幸運被他們雇用繪製宣傳的主視覺插畫。🙈
在美國創作人物插畫時，其實人種上還是有考究的，所以我在繪畫時都會跟客戶確認人種，避免一些不必要的爭議；如這張插畫在創作時，因為有年代因素，所以在1970年之前採用的角色都是白人，而2000年以後因為ＵＰＳ跨足亞洲地區，所以就放上了亞洲人，而最新的改版則是運用了拉丁人和非洲黑人的形象。
有時候接這類型案件，因為不需要我畫特定人士，所以我可以按照自己想要的畫的人的長相去畫，如果適合也符合畫面需求，通常我會安插一些我身邊認識的朋友進去，像這張畫的亞洲人就是我多年的好友，把認識的人放在我的插畫創作中也是一種樂趣。

新冠病毒目前還在美國大流行，對於美國金融房地產的影響仍然還無法估計，等疫情告一段落後，會造成什麼樣的情勢，誰又會成為房地產經濟方面新的重要人物呢？
這幅封面插畫是我在2018年為《商業觀察家》雜誌所繪製，他們每週出版一萬份送往各個金融公司部門等訂戶。
封面故事是關於全美最具影響力的前五十房產大領袖，而當時因為美國房產市場上的競爭非常激烈，所以藝術總監要我畫競爭的強度如同在ＭＭＡ擂台上搏鬥一樣。
繪製草稿的過程很有趣，藝術總監也給我很多自由空間來創作這幅作品，他還說我畫得讓他覺得好難。有趣的是，我們在來回校稿的時候，他回了我一封信有附上了他修改過後的我的草稿，我覺得很喜歡，尤其是手部。 （剛好當時我還有另外兩個案子在進行中，有點忙得昏天暗地。）然後，我就回覆他說：
“嗨，我喜歡你畫手的方式，看起來比我畫的還要更好看！”
他回答：“沒有，我只是複制貼上了你另外一個草稿中畫的手。”
然後我就尷尬了...哈哈哈。

I had lots of fun doing sketches and the art director Jeff gave me lots of creative space to create this piece. The fun thing was I got the feedback from Jeff, and I thought he did a bit adjustment of my sketches which I also like. (During that time I was also working on two assignments.) Then, I said, " Hi Jeff, I love the way you draw the hand, and it looks better than my drawing." He replied," No, I just copied and pasted the hand you drew from another sketch."
It was a fun experience.
