Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2018 has nearly come to an end. Without you all, Vocabno and I would not have those memorable experiences and this is why I want to seize this opportunity to thank you all here.

To me, 2018 is an important year, with lots of ups and downs, gains and losses. As a final year student, I think and reflect a lot to be a better self and a better role model of my students. I become more mature and rational but at the same time, I also become more passionate in my teaching journey.

Not everyone goes closer to their ideal destination when they grow old. Instead, they go further and further from their dream because of growing old, losing courage and claiming that’s the fate of all people who grow older. However, I am lucky as I still like what I was doing. One of the things I started 2.5 years before was Vocabno and I am still in love with it. I understand nothing is guaranteed. No-one knows what will be the next and therefore, I tell myself every day that I should do what I think is great in Vocabno, when others think a final year student should spend their time on studying well and finding a nice job. People often ask “What’s next for Vocabno?” I don’t have a model answer but I can just tell you “Vocabno will be better than yesterday.”

True, jobs can be exhausting. Haters can be rude. Life can be hard. For many times I wanted to give up and leave Vocabno alone but at last, I didn’t. This is because of my aspiration, my team and most importantly, my friends who think Vocabno can help them.

It has been 2.5 years. Thanks all who are always here to support, believe us and have the hope that we can be better. Vocabno will improve together with you all. Our 2019 will be better than ever.
