Having a voice and a platform to express, support, and positively promote great causes has always been a passion of mine. Being blessed with so much love over the years in no matter what I pursue, has been something I never take for granted. So when my friend Dickson asked me to come out and widen my horizons in learning about this charity that supports underprivileged kids with autism, I didn’t hesitate and I showed up. For me, words are just words, where actions show accountability. Dickson & Coco are these kind-hearted souls who showed me that genuinity and being present is the best way to show ur support! The Ambitious 220 charity ride will help to raise awareness on the Autism Spectrum and invaluable funds for the RCCHKG’s appointed local charity, Autism Partnership Foundation (APF).

Members from the RCCHKG together with the Randonneurs Hong Kong are challenging ourselves to ride 354km (220miles) from 21st-27th. Whether riding across the week or hammering it in one, our efforts will be raising money to help fund APF's invaluable work in improving opportunities for people on the Autism Spectrum.

RCCHKG會員和 Randonneurs Hong Kong 將會嚮應及以從英國同一活動為藍本挑戰自己，於 6 月 21 日至 27 日騎行累計 354 公里(220 英里)。

The Freshman Christmas Jingle-Sing-Along Charity Performance
20th Dec 2014 | 8pm | at Top Deck (223A Upp Thomson Road)

As a part of “Project 50 For 50“, The Freshman have been roped in as Junior Changemakers and are helping 2 Changemakers (Michelle Chow and Eve Pek) raise their targeted amount for 2 charities – Singapore Association of Mental Health and Autism Association (Singapore).

So do join us as we spend an evening celebrating the season at a specially prepared fund-raising Christmas sing-along showcase!

Date and Time: 20th Dec 2014, 8 – 9.15pm
Location: Top Deck @ 2nd floor of Habitat Coffee (223A Upper Thomson)
Tickets: $50 per pax (ticket holders are also entitled to a cup of free coffee!)

Ticket-holders will be entitled to a special cup of coffee made from coffee beans picked and roasted specially for this event! Each ticket-holder also goes home with a goody bag of gifts from our generous friends and sponsors! In the name of charity, we hope you can spread the cheer and join us in action and in song.

The amazing thing about this project is that every dollar that is raised from the event will be matched dollar-for-dollar by corporate partners. This amount is then multiplied when again matched dollar-for-dollar by the government (under the Community Chest “Care and Share” programme)! This means that when you purchase our $50 entrance ticket, you are essentially donating $200 in total!

It’s going to be a wonderful evening.
It’s not because we’re amazing.

It’s because every warm-hearted passionate individual who is going to be there is a Changemaker in his/her own little way. And when a bunch of Changemakers come together to celebrate, magic fills the air.
