SOLO (SURAKARTA) AND JOGJAKARTA

Both cities are the cradle of Javanese culture.

SOLO - The achievement of Solo in dance and batik for example, is truly remarkable. Solo is often called as the capital of batik. In this city, there is Laweyan Batik Village where is the place of batik artisan for centuries. There is also an ancient batik museum of Danar Hadi, the best and most complete batik museum in the world. The tour will not be complete without buying any souvenirs. Klewer Market, Beteng Trade Center to Windujenar Market where is a 'heaven' for hunting typical souvenirs of Solo from Batik to antique stuffs.

JOGYAKARTA (often also called Jogja, Yogya or Jogja) is located in middle of Java Island, Indonesia, where EVERYTHING IS CHEAP.
It's enough with $20 per-day, you are able to stay over, eat famous authentic delicious food, and rent a motorbike to explore the pure beaches and thousand of years old ancient temples.

If Malaysia has the world's highest twin towers, Yogyakarta has Prambanan Temple with 47 meters tall and was made by hand about 1100 the previous years. If Singapore has modern life, Yogyakarta has traditional agrarian society. If Thailand and Bali have beautiful beaches, Yogyakarta owns natural beaches and Mount Merapi, which has a story of how powerful the force of nature is.

We really enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were super nice and friendly, helping us order food and making our stay more comfortable!
