Finally got to try theses pastries and donuts from the famous Amatissimo Caffè's pop up store at #emquartier that will be there until end of August. I really like the donut - soft pillow brioche dough with luscious fillings which is light in flavor so that it doesn't overpower the yummy dough (had chocolate truffle flavor this time). The pastries, on the other hand, are (very) buttery, crispy and heavy in weight, which we think some people would love, while some might find it too much for their palette. Overall worthy of trying though a bit pricey in our opinion

Some lovely croissant before starting work today anyone? These pretty pastries from James Boulangerie tick all our marks for a good croissant: it's buttery, it contains loads of flaky layers, with a well balanced level of sweetness and saltiness. The shop's other baked goods with fancy toppings are quite nice, but their plain croissant is the item that #croissantlover has got to try. Would love to reorder the goodies if the shop isn't so far away
