在 Mets Taiwan Day/ 紐約大都會台灣日的場上，我們特別製作這支影片，希望透過棒球，將台灣的感謝，傳達給所有美國人。
去年疫情爆發後，台灣捐贈美國百萬片口罩，在今年台灣疫情升溫之際，美國也捐贈250萬劑疫苗，協助台灣抗疫。
這部影片中的棒球飛越了太平洋，連結了台中洲際棒球場、天母棒球場以及紐約大都會球場，台灣日放映當天，感動了全場的觀眾。
患難見真情，經歷過疫情的考驗，#台美全球合作夥伴關係 將更加堅定，肩並肩，攜手面對未來的一切挑戰。

The 16th Mets Taiwan Day was a great success, with Ambassador 蕭美琴 Bi-khim Hsiao being given the honor of the first pitch! To thank our friend and partner in the #UnitedStates for their donation of 2.5 million vaccines to Taiwan, MOFA commissioned this short film to be broadcast on the big day!
When the #US was in need of face masks, we were happy to oblige and we were delighted when they reciprocated the gesture by reaching out a helping hand!
Much more than a love of #baseball unites us, as we share the common values of #freedom, #democracy and respect for #HumanRights! #RealFriends are there for each other through #ThickAndThin, and this suggests Taiwan-US ties are really something special!!

Thank you Taiwan. Thank you for all the amazing memories that will last a lifetime. I came here 4 years ago to play baseball and now it is a place I consider my second home.
I want to thank the CTBC brothers and the front office for taking a chance on me 4 years ago. Thank you for making Taiwan feel like home for me and my family.
Thank you to all my teammate for always playing with the same love and passion i tried to everyday. I will miss going to battle with you all. Thank you for becoming more than teammates, we became life long friends.
To all the fans. Thank you for you unconditional love and support over the last 4 years. Without you all I would never be able to play the game I love. You all have showed me and my family such amazing love. I am truly grateful to have played in front of you all, your support meant the world to me. I will miss seeing your smiling faces everyday.
Thank you to my wife Kirby Lively and son Colton for always being here for me. Whether we are together or thousands of miles apart you have always given me motivation and love to push on. I wouldn’t have been able to play here without your love and unconditional support.
The country of taiwan is absolutely amazing, being able to call it home was an absolute privilege. The people, culture and communities are truly special and will have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. I am truly thankful for my experience here, it has changed me for the better.

我要感謝中信兄弟球團，在四年前給了我機會來到台灣，也感謝你們讓我還有我的家人在台灣就像在家一樣自在。
同時也要感謝所有的球迷，謝謝你們的愛戴以及過去四年所有的支持。少了你們，我無法在我最愛的棒球場上投球。不只是我，球迷們也對我的家人們非常關心也親切。可以在大家面前投球，我真的感到很榮幸。你們的支持對我來說意義深重，往後的每一天，我一定會記住曾經在觀眾席上歡心為我應援的每一張笑臉。

On our trip around Taiwan last year Prozzie and I stopped in Hualien to experience the World Famous Dongdamen Nightmarket and instead of just eating foods and drinking beer we decided to hold a 5 game challenge to see who is the night market game champion. Archery... basketball...dice...ring toss.... baseball and airsoft..... Who will be the Taiwan Night Market Champion????
