"The Second" is a social enterprise, a non-profit cafe that deserves more attention and support from the public. The initiative is started by PACTS Schools... the proceeds from the cafe churns to funding children in rural areas in Miri and Penang to study in the child-centered education of PACTS Schools. A stone's throw distance away from Olive Tree Hotel, The Second can be found right next to Arang Coffee (previously Kum Kei). Like most cafes, the place offers the standard cafe fare and setting; with a mix of local elements. Despite the prices are on the higher side (for charity purposes anyway), the serving portion is well-justified.
